“Nice Hotel, Bad Location”
This hotel is clean and comfortable for the price. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the location. They're very close to a train station, but the line they're on requires 2 connections to get to most of the popular city locations. London Underground prices aren't cheap, so in the end it may cost the same to stay closer to central London - even if the hotel prices are higher.
“Jury's Inn - fabulous hotel, service needs help.”
The hotel itself was very nice and the location was right next to the tube so it was ideal. The only issue was that the staff seemed very inexperienced and couldn't get things right the first time. Check in was an issue, asked for a wake up call that I never got, took forever to get anything we asked for (iron, towels, phone service hook up, etc.), and check out was not smooth either. The saving grace was the rooms were clean, the breakfast in the restaurant was very good, and the location was wonderful.
