nice hotel lovely foodPosted Sep 15, 2014
Cons: better parking system
The hotel was a joke for parking i had to park on the other side of the dual carriage way and pay £8.50 for a 24 hour stay. Easy and quick check in, the room was spacious and clean. We had dinner in the resturant it was a bit pricey but you cant complin much as the food was excellent.

Nice hotel not too far from central LondonPosted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: I liked how the staff accommodated us with using their phone to confirm reservations
We were looking for a hotel out of central London that wouldn't cost a fortune (since the American dollar is worth less than the British pound) and we found one in East Croydon. The overground train was only 2 stops away from Victoria Station and it took less than 15 minutes to get there. Not too shabby! It was also really nice to be within walking distance of the train, which was about a 5 minute walk. Overall--I would stay there again since the location was good and the staff was very accommodating.

Nice hotel in convenient location.Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Location, Location, Location! Beds were comfortable. Housekeeping was good. Good water pressure in shower.
Cons: Thermostat goes off after a length of time. Shower was a little hard to turn on.
Location: Public transportation close, as well as the mall and a couple of cute coffee shop/bakeries. A few restaurants in the area to choose from.
Jury's Inn is a short walk (5 minutes) to the Tube and Train and just a short jaunt (2 minutes) to the tram. The staff was very nice and attentive. I didn't rate this as "5's" as it wasn't perfect (but what is?)

Good hotel for the price.Posted Sep 5, 2014
We were first time visitors to London area and I thought the location wasn't too bad but apparently to the locals, this location is far from the tourist areas. There is a train station close by, as well as a shopping centre and many restaurants and grocery stores. The lobby and restaurants were very nice and seemed to have been recently renovated. They also have a storage area for your luggage if you arrive before check in and want to tour the city without dragging around your luggage. The staff was friendly but our room wasn't ready when we came back to check in. We were told to wait and that they would get housekeeping to clean the room. We didn't mind waiting but they did forget about us (we could hear the conversation btw the desk clerks as the one we spoke to came back from a break and then she immediately rushed to us). That was annoying. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was huge but the floors and walls could have used a scrubbing. The housekeepers were thoughtful in bringing another mug (without us asking) when they realized there were 3 of us in the room. The pillows were too firm, but that's just our preference. I thought the price was good for the London area and we would stay here again.

Pros: Cleaniness, friendly staff and walking distance to town centre. Felt relaxed in this area after a long flight.
Location: Very good location and great shopping areas. Family was exicited of taking the Overground train to London which was about a 30 minute ride.
Very pleased with my stay for 3 nights with my family. Close to shopping and transportation.
