standard hotel in an advantageous positionPosted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: Position for airport travellers. Yoy can arrive by underground and depending on your timetable reach the airport by underground or taxi at low fare
Location: I can't report because I stayed there few hours.
I arrived very late at night by underground (last station before Terminals). Taxi driver suggested me to walk to the hotel; I did and it took 4 minutes only. Fast and efficient check-in. At desk they sell still water for 1,00 £. Room spacious and clean. Partilally clogged sink. However during all night there was a disturbing sound (I could not identifiy the source) like running engines of some system. Early wake up requested and it worked. There was an announcement of potential scarcity of water during peak hours due to a technical problems; I did not experience any inconvenience. Taxi requested for airport Terminal and it worked (8 £). Check out very fast.

Nothing specialPosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: Convenience and location for my business trip
The hotel was perfectly fine, but nothing special. I had stayed at a Travelodge the night before (one of their better ones...) and the two rooms were vertually identicle. The towels here are small (or perhaps I'm too big!) and quite thin - not big and fluffy. The bedroom and bathoom was clean, and the shower worked well. The restaurant and bar was quite cold and un-inviting, the menus were also a little bland and quite boring, the food was cooked well enough, though on the small side and not what I would call good value for money. That said the hotel served it's purpose. It is a stop over hotel for heathrow etc. or as in my case a couple of days business in the area.

Not the bestPosted Feb 24, 2014
We recently stayed here for 1 night after returning from a very long flight from Australia,we were cold and tired, we had got used to the friendly, welcoming and exceptionally clean surroundings of oz and also we stayed in a gorgeous hotel in Bali for 5days and Kuala Lumpur for 1night where they bent over backwards to make your stay perfect in every way, unfortunately it wasn't like this here, the staff were not particularly friendly, our room was tiny and freezing cold, the heating wasn't working,we complained and eventually we were moved to a different room. We had a meal in the restaurant which was very nice and our waiter was pleasant.

Handy for airportPosted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: The staff were helpful. there is a choice of bar food or restaurant.
Cons: The internet access is expensive.
Excellent location for the airport. The underground station is a four minute walk away, then it is one or two stops depending on your terminal.

Convenient for Heathrow T4 transferPosted Feb 17, 2014
It's close to T4 and very convenient for a short stay. The shuttle buses pick you up at the entrance of the hotel every 30 mins at a low price (running by national express). The room is clean and tidy. The only thing I felt disappointed is the extra charge for Wifi, which is not cheap (£10 for 24 hrs). It's mentioned when I booked the room. I was preparing to pay the internet. Just a bit expensive... All in all, I am quite satisfied.

Great hotel at a great pricePosted Feb 14, 2014
Pros: Proximity to airport Modern, clean rooms Comfortable bed Easy check-in Decent breakfast Runway views (if you like watching the planes)
Cons: Wifi is £10 for 24 hours. I'm not a big fan of paying for internet access, but given the room was so reasonably priced I didn't feel too hard done by.
Location: One stop from Heathrow 1,2,3 on the underground. Nothing to do nearby - but a good hotel before departure or rest upon arrival.
I booked this hotel on arrival at Heathrow after a long haul from LAX. I couldn't face a trek across London at rush hour with suitcases so looked online and found a good deal at this hotel, just one stop from Heathrow on the underground. I checked in and wasn't disappointed. The room was spacious, bathroom clean and modern feeling, and the bed was very comfortable. Check-in was fast and painless. The rooms are pretty quiet considering the proximity to the airport. You can't hear the busy road outside at all and any planes flying overhead sound like background noise. I decided to pay for the buffet breakfast which seemed reasonable value at £11. There are the usual English breakfast options, as well as toast, breads, spreads and some fruit, as well as hot drinks. Good value given that there is nothing nearby, they could be charging a lot more. My top tip for this hotel if travelling with suitcases is to ignore Google Maps directions and walk along the Great South-West road. It may be a few meters further, but the route suggested by Google requires using a footbridge, which means lots of stairs. The Great South-West road route has none! Also note that Hatton Cross station doesn't have lifts, although there aren't an unmanageable number of stairs.
