Good quality overall

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: close to airport; good restaurant
Cons: shuttle bus from tube station to hotel for guest with big luggages
Location: Only business complex, no shopping or markets.
Hotel is one tube stop away from Heathrow. If you have big luggage, it will be a bit of a struggle because there is no elevator or escalator at the Hattan Cross tube station. It takes about 5 mins to walk from tube to hotel, not a problem if you do not have heavy luggage. The area is very industrial. There is no market or shops around except for the small convenience stores at the tube station and at hotel. Food at hotel restaurant is very good and service friendly and prompt. Will stay again especially for the very reasonable cost.

Excellent hotel for Heathrow airport.

The staff upgraded us when we mentioned that last time we stayed there we were not satisfied as we had been given a room for people with disabilities even though the hotel was not at all full. The problem with these rooms is that everything is at a height for people using wheelchairs.

Pleasant Stay

Posted Mar 27, 2014
I found my room to be clean and modern. In view of the location of the hotel, it was surprisingly quiet and in the limited time I had to sleep, thankfully I did sleep. The room was a little chilly when I first entered but a call to reception soon resolved this issue. The hotel is a little awkward to get too, especially if you are not familiar with this part of London and parking is tight but I managed to find a space for my car. Overall, the hotel is a good place to stay.

Perfect location for Heathrow T5

Very clean hotel with attentive staff, great location too. I have stayed here 3 times, and the bathrooms always seem to have a bad sewerage smell. Apart from that, no issues

Good service

Arrived early for one night stay, and friendly man on reception allowed us to have the room straight away and upgraded us to a family room. The Jury's Inn is so much nicer than the Heathrow Ibis ! Will definitely stay again.

Didn't feel welcome, uncomfortable mattress

Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: Kettle with tea and coffee.
Cons: The staff could be welcoming, the internet could be free (or cheaper) and the mattress could be comfortable (offering some support).
Location: You're very close to Hatton Cross tube station. I used it to get to Heathrow Terminal 5 to buy supplies.
A week earlier I'd stayed at a Jurys Inn in Islington and was made to feel very welcome as I was greeted by the greeter. This was a very different experience. The hotel lacked, I dunno how to explain, soul I guess? My room was designed for disabled guests with an oversize bathroom having extra hand rails, etc. I have no idea why I got a room like that - maybe they're all like this? It kinda felt like a hospital bathroom. And the bed mattress was really poor (overly soft and springy, reminding me of my student days!). Upsides were a kettle with tea and coffee, heating that worked, and fast-enough internet although it does cost £10 for 24 hours. I'm used to free internet in other countries. Bottom line: I've stayed at other hotels near Heathrow and they've been better than this.
