Comfortable great spot

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Comfortable. Clean. Convenient location. Value for money. Free newspapers. Lots happening in the area.
Cons: Would have been nice to have an armchair in my room. There was space.
Location: Close to Upper st and Camden Passage. Lots of restaurants and bars within five minutes walk. Many bus routes, Shoredith, Hackney, and in to city.
Close to Angel tube station and the lovely Upper St and Camden Passage this hotel has been recently renovated, with painters still in the corridor. Very comfortable bed and clean, didn't use the dining facilities apart from room service one night. A very convenient spot. Best thing for tube travelers from Heathrow is that there are escalators at Kings Cross to Northern Line and escalators at Angel so no carrying suitcases up any staircases.

An enjoyable stay

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Its location. The room size. Lovely breakfast
Cons: Reception staff were not prepared for our arrival and slow to get us booked in. Checking out was also quite slow apparently due to printer problems
Location: Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants, some with outside space/rooftop gardens in Angel. Also limited amount of shops.
Nice hotel, lovely size room and very clean. Had a problem with the lights on arrival but the switch had apparently tripped and this was soon sorted when pointed out. The location was excellent, close to the tube and the facilities in Angel are excellent with plenty of bars and nice places to eat plus a limited amount of shops. The reception staff were a little slow and unprepared for our arrival despite the advance booking but they did apologise for this. The buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and nicely cooked hot food. Can't say more than it was a very pleasant stay and I would willingly stay again.

Good hotel, near Kings Cross

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Had a great stay at Jury's, Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean. Only problem with my room was it overlooked a building site. Not too much of a problem as I was out sightseeing most of the day. I would definitely stay here again.

Service lacking during a seven night stay

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Comfortable bed and pillows. Air conditioning worked. Good reading lights and night stands. Free Wii. Ample closet space.
Cons: Provide bathroom floors mats, a bath towel for each guest, face cloths. Cleaner bathroom and closet. Clothes drawer.
Location: Close to Angel tube station.
We were two people sharing a room for seven nights. I paid in advance, or we might have moved. Bathroom - The bathroom service was a problem. Two people taking showers with no bathroom floor mat creates and wet and slippery floor. We only were provided a bathroom floor mat on one night out of seven nights. Care to share a wet towel for showers? On our last night, we were provided with only one bath towel and no bathroom floor mat. There were no face cloths. There was an ear wig in the bathroom. Hangers - We asked for extra hangers three times, once from the front desk and twice from cleaning staff. The first ask yielded one, the second ask yielded two and the third ask yielded nothing. We finally went to a store and bought five hangers. Closet - The upper closet shelf was very dusty. We asked for a cloth to clean it. There were no drawers. Internet - very slow

Good business hotel

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Staff, bed
Cons: Noise
Location: Bus, subway and train stations are very close
If you arrive in London via St. Pancras Intl, then the hotel is very convenient. It is modern and the internet and AC both work well. The downside of my experience is that there is currently construction going on in front, which makes it very loud and they were also cleaning the building, so when you leave out the front doors, you get sprayed with water.

Come and go hotel

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: NOt too much given its at the low end of tariffs in the area.
Location: Its Kings Cross/St Pancras……what more needs to be said
Well to say that the hotel is in handy location is understatement Met my children here, and everyone coming from different directions. Not to bad to travel to via Underground, rail and even drive. Room was not special but was clean and comfortable. Would recommend for short stay.

Comfortable base in Islington

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Islington location, of access to central London, comfortable, well presented hotel.
Cons: Sometimes noise from busy road. But window glazing good and rooms have air conditioning
Location: Islington is busy and bohemian. Cafe culture, green areas, busy but pleasant. Shops, cafes, bars on the doorstep, markets and Regents Canal short walk.
Comfortable hotel with good facilities, close to shops, cafes, bars in bustling Islington, as well as the Regents Canal for peace and waterside. Easy access to London centre via tube from Angel or Kings Cross. Stayed here several times and would again. Staff helpful, roomsclean and well presented.
