Great hotel in a quiet neighborhood.

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: The spa, and the hotel bar. We had a night cap every night upon returning home.
This was a great hotel and spa for an American traveler. It is a little far from the sightseeing on the center of London but really easy to get to on the tube. Or it was about 25£ to get home in a cab from Trafalgar Square. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again. Found a great restaurant down a few blocks from the hotel called The Bird in Hand. Highly recommend it for a small, intimate, quant dinner.

A true gem providing 5-star quality

Posted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: Price. Quality of rooms.
Location: Westfield shopping mall.
PROS: I was pleasantly surprised by the K West Hotel & Spa, because it offered 5-star quality rooms and service at a price of a typical 3 or 4-star in London. The room and bathroom were very spacious with modern decor. The hotel also has a nice gym and spa facilities for guests. CONS: The location is in zone 2 next to Shepherd's Bush underground station. So it takes a good 20-minute tube ride to get to Piccadilly Circus and the centre of London. Having said that, the best shopping mall in London - Westfield - and many restaurants are within walking distance, so that's a definite plus. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It's definitely not your typical 4-star shoebox you find elsewhere in London. It's a 4-star that provides almost 5-star quality accommodation. Great value as I paid around $130 / a night.

Good location for Olympia Central exhibition centr

Pros: Style, cleanliness and helpful staff.
Cons: Full length mirror in the room. Better lighting in the bathroom (for putting on make-up).
Reception staff and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Could have done with a full length mirror in the bedroom as very difficult to see properly in the little one above the kettle, which was cut in half with a glass shelf!

Great hotel with gym and spa facilities.

Posted Mar 14, 2014
Pros: Spa and gym. Convenience to underground and shopping centre Comfortable bed and pillows
Cons: Improve the lighting in the bathroom ,! Air conditioning was difficult to operate.
Location: Shepherds bush underground and overground train station . Restaurants, cinema--Vue. Westfield shopping centre. Waitrose and Morrisons supermarkets
Superb hotel very convenient for Westfield shopping centre- great restaurants, shops etc- 5 minutes walk from Shepherd's bush train/ underground station! Free use of well equipped gym. Daily fee for use of spa facilities- but reduced to £10 between 8-10pm-- excellent! Bar and restaurant -- very good. Friendly, professional staff. Well worth a visit and would recommend ! Good rates at weekends and other deals on websites.

Overnight Stay

Posted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: Comfortable room and bed
Cons: The bar area being separated from the reception area
I have stayed at the K West a number of times when staying overnight in London for private reasons - it is a convenient location at a reasonable price for London Hotels - the king size bed was extremely comfortable - and the bathroom facilities excellent - I did have a drink in the bar when I came back to the hotel from my evening out - I do not like the practice of charging a service charge at bars then many London cocktail bars do this - I also think it odd that the bar is not separated in some way from the reception area - this is a really good hotel for a reasonable price for London .

Smart friendly hotel

Posted Feb 17, 2014
Location: Easy walk to tube and buses at Shepherds Bush and to the shops and restaurants at Westfield centre
We thought this hotel was good value for London. The location should have been quiet but unfortunately our room was directly above the service delivery area and we were disturb very early in the morning for quite some time. Everything else was very good and we certainly intend to stay again as it was very convenient for us.
