“Great spot”

Just 5 minutes from the Earl's Court tube stop, yet in a quiet neighborhood. London sized rooms that are clean and comfortable. Great buffet breakfast. Great staff.

“Wonderful place to stay!”

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had a room overlooking the garden which was very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast which was included in the price was amazing. Great selection of fruits and pastries. They would also cook egg whites for me as I am allergic to egg yolks. At times there was quite a line but it moved fairly quickly. I would definitely stay at any K & K Hotel again. The neighborhood is safe to walk around and hotel is located about 1 1/2 blocks from the tube. Also many restaurants and little stores nearby.

The service and location was great. Staff was very helpful. Safe area. We will return to the K&K Hotel George if we visit London again. We are now in Paris. Wish we knew about K&K Paris.

“My new London hotel”

Great value! Location was outstanding - just around the corner from the Earl's Court tube with very convenient transit to London Heathrow on the Picadilly line. Best sleep during my trip to Europe (4 hotel stops total). I have stayed at other hotels in the area during 10 previous stays in London and they were fine too, but this has the best combination of location, quality, sleepability, and staff service.

“Satisfied”

We had no problem with this hotel. Clean room with just enough space to host an extra bed. Good location close to city centre. Good breakfast. WiFi signal in our room was not strong but it worked. Overall impression was good.

“Excellent Hotel!”

We stayed at the George for 8 nights and could not have asked for a better hotel. We've stayed in hotels all over the world and have found none we like better than the George. The staff was extremely responsive and helpful. The rooms, lobby, dining room, work-out room and spa were all extremely clean. The daily English breakfast bar was unparalelled. Next trip to London will definitly include a stay at the George.

Area recommendations

Earl's Court is a fantastic area to decompress after a day in London. It's very small town and cozy by comparison to the hustle and bustle of the city. A great place we found for coffee, baklava, and the best staff was MoRish - at the end of Spear Mews at Earl's Court Road. Unbeatable staff and great music! Also, we enjoyed the Prince of Teck - good fish 'n chips.

“Perfect Location - Hotel K & K Hotel George, London”

Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Small rooms and they were hot at night. Need new pillows - a bit flat. Great location - Tube Station around the corner and lots of stores and places to eat. The Gormet Burger Kitchen is a must!! Breakfast is great and keeps you full until dinner. Free computer access if you don't bring yours. A great pick. Get an Oyster Card for the Tube if you are staying 7 days.

“Remains my favorite London Hotel”

Without a doubt, this is my favorite London hotel. Have stayed at many others (many 5-star included) and have returned to the K+K every time (dozens of times). The staff and hotel management are, without exception, amazing. Front desk, breakfast buffet, housekeeping, reservations and management -- all are dedicated to making guests feel "at home." This most recent eight night visit was, as always, exceptional. My executive room overlooking the lovely gardens was an oasis in a busy (yet vibrant) part of town. The buffet breakfast was, as always, great (with exceptional service). I can't say enough about how much I love the K+K -- it is truly a gem. Location is also great -- minutes from Earl's court tube stop with multiple underground lines including easy, direct to Heathrow (and Earl's Court is one of the few tube stops with elevator and ramps for easy access with luggage). But back to the K+K. Literally, I want to go back to the K+K tomorrow!!!!! Thank you!!!

“Don't hesitate to book this hotel! It's a wonderful place to stay in London.”

The hotel surpassed our expectations. The staff are impeccably polite and totally focused on guests' satisfaction. The hotel is spotlessly clean, bright and modern inside. The outside facade is beautiful, especially at night and is, without doubt, the best looking hotel in the area of Earl's Court. It's very stately. The location is excellent. I was worried about walking to/from Earl's Court tube station after dark, but we were never uncomfortable. The area is always busy and bustling with people and the hotel is just a one minute or so walk from the Tube and Earl's Court Road and its shops. Kensington High Street is barely a 10 minute walk as well. The (included) breakfast buffet is wonderful: everything from cereals, meusli, cheeses, meats, a wide variety of fruits, fruit juices, breads, pastries, jams, spreads, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausages, etc., to chilled champagne! One couldn't ask for a better selection for breakfast. The dining room staff are incredibly polite and efficient and the tables are quickly cleared with new crisp linens and cutlery for the next guest to arrive. There are Ethernet connections in the rooms, but WiFi is really only attainable in the lobby and perhaps the two floors above. We didn't mind as the lobby/sitting area was an enjoyable place to relax and access the 'Net with our laptops. The only disappointment we had was the shower - it had half a glass door, unlike a full sliding glass door in north America. Made for awkward showering!

Area recommendations

Earl's Court is bustling and highly accessible to the Tube, shopping, and restaurants. You feel like you're in a real neighbourhood in London, not just a touristy hotel area. Kensington High Street with all its shops, etc., is also within comfortable walking distance. It was a great base to access all areas of London, especially as Earl's Court Tube is on the Piccadilly Line.
