awful stay

Posted Jul 23, 2014
We arrived at 2:30 pm, since the checking time was 2:00. The rooms were not ready, so we went out to eat something. Half an hour later the rooms were still not ready, and the general conditions of the hotel were awful: dirty sheets on the floor, garbage all over the place, there was a beer on the desk beside the bed... So we went to the counter and explain it to the guy over there, and he was very sarcastic about our situation: he finally gave us other rooms after we insisted, but we feel he was mocking us. This was a bad experience to begin with, considering we were going to stay in London for just 2 days. The neighbourhood was not the best either, lots of homeless people, some persons were shouting and arguing in the middle of the night, etc. I don't recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel close to Kings Cross and St Pancras

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: The cleanliness and helpful staff
Cons: If anything something to dim the noise from outside
Location: The train and tube stations was across the road. I was easy to access Central London and surrounding areas.
Comfy clean hotel and conveniant to train and underground staioNS. Fron our room over the front entrance you could hear busy traffic from the main road and the busy street when deliveries arrived and bins emptyied etc. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a choice of continental, vegetarian and full English. The full English was £4-95 and continental £7. Good value for money.

Convenient, reasonable value close to stations.

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Location, clean.
Location: Just opposite the station, so loads of choices and easy to get about.
We just stayed one night before an early Eurostar departure. Efficient check in. Basement room with window had just be refurbished. Clean and functional, new bathroom, great shower!

Hotel fine for transit

Room fine & staff helpful but neither breakfast nor Wifi included. Convenient to Piccadilly line for Heathrow $ Eurostar train to Brussels but that part of town is not real nice.

Convenient hotel for transport and restaurants

Posted May 18, 2014
Pros: friendly staff
Cons: having a lift
Location: already said above
only spent one night and did not use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast. Obviously it is under refurbishment which is being done with style. Our only reason for not using it again is that there is no lift which my husband needed due to breathing difficulties.

ok

Posted May 7, 2014
Cons: the sheet and quilt are not smooth, bath towel is too small
it's ok generally. the twin beds are too narrow (less than 1 meter's width); it is a little bit noisy cause it nears the station

Good Location, Bad Hotel

Posted Apr 20, 2014
The location of the hotel is excellent as it is across the street from the Kings Cross train station, which is convenient to most places in London. However, the rooms are very small and be prepared to be nickel and dimed to death. Extra for the wi-fi, extra to store your bags after check out, etc., etc.

Great for Eurostar

This hotel is just across the road from St Pancras and Kings Cross. So if you've got a morning train this is the perfect location. Room was good and bathroom appeared to be brand new.
