Comfortable hotel in leafy neighborhoodPosted Nov 6, 2014
This hotel turned out to be excellent value for money for us. The multi-ethnic, helpful, and professional staff at the hotel made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. We had our 2.5 year old with us. The hotel provided a cot for her at no extra cost. We chose the rate with breakfast included and this was well worth it. The hotel is right opposite Hyde Park and there are bus and underground tube stops close to the hotel.

Nice hotel close to Hyde ParkPosted Oct 30, 2014
Pros: Wasn't on a main road
Cons: Breakfast - more tables, better selection of fruit, replenish hot buffet quicker
Central to museums, shopping and theatre. Tube less than 5 minutes away. Spacious family room. Breakfast was very busy, we had to wait for a table. Cold buffet was disappointing would have preferred not to have had tinned peaches, pineapple and pears!. Staff worked very hard but needed to replenish cooked buffet quicker,

Nice place, good price!Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: Staff was very helpful with calling for lost baggage at the train station.
Location: beautiful walks through Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park! The Pizza Factory restaurant is great, 5 min walk down Bayswater rd.
we stayed here on a return trip through London for two nights with our 9month old. The rooms are small but as are most in UK/Europe. Hotel was in a quiet neighborhood and a close walk to Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. We will stay here again in the future!

Location, Location, LocationPosted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: The location on a quiet street and the fact that Europeans and locals stay there
Cons: The restaurant menu should be as good as the breakfast buffet.
Location: There is a shopping center within walking distance, several types of restaurants, parks to wander through, and two tube stops.
This was my third stay at this hotel, the first stay was when it was under a different owner. I like the location between two tube stops and one block from Bayswater, a very busy street but far enough away from Lancaster Gate, which is a quiet, residential street. I enjoy wandering around the neighborhood and walking in the nearby parks. It's possible to walk across the park to the Kensington area, which is another place I enjoy wandering and dining. There is a wonderful Italian restaurant just a couple blocks from the hotel. The food is always well-prepared. The food at the hotel is pleasing but nothing to write home about. Breakfast is good but lunch and dinner are better eaten out.
