Nice hotel close to Hyde park.

Pros: Hyde park location.
Cons: Housekeeping services
Had very noisy neighbors, hotel was not so helpful in toning it down or changing my room. Also, for three days in a row I had asked for my room to be serviced and it wasnt done inspire of being out of the room for two hours at a time.

Pros: Nice lobby.
Cons: Redecorate, polish the bathroom floor occasionally.
Superior Double Room? What was superior about it? Scuffed wall paper, a long hair next to the wash basin, frayed curtains, crumbling lampshade and cheap furniture. Not what I was expecting for the price. A big bed.....is that what makes it superior? I have stayed in several London hotels, this one is not bad, but is overpriced.

Pros: Good hospitality
Location: Hyde Park; Oxford Street and Lancaster Gate Underground station.
Our staying was very nice. I want to thank miss Eden for her assistant.

Five minute walk to Paddington Station for train to Heathrow. Many restaurants nearby. Lancaster Gate tube under hotel. Ten minute walk into Oxford Street. Hyde Park one minute across the road. Nice restaurants. Daily papers would be a good idea.

A disaster from start to finish

Pros: due to the fact that the wedding was taking place there, it was convenient
Cons: EVERYTHING, starting with good customer service
Location: It is situated in the westend close to the Lancaster gate tube station.
My sister and I traveled from LA to London for a family wedding (taking place at this hotel). In short, we were moved into 3 different rooms after arrival due to a myriad of problems: a bath drain that wouldn't drain, an incessant banging in the pipes etc. The final room we were given was still not perfect because when the a/c turned on there was a loud thump but at this stage it wasn't worth another move. The wifi was on the blink the whole visit and the straw that broke the camel's back was that the elevator was out of order for 3 hours and there was not available stairwell to walk up to our room.

Pros: pleasant staff and nice hotel. the newly refurbished gym was really awesome.
Cons: Can't think of anything.

Really a nice 4 star in London. Very centrally located, close to the best bit of Hyde Park.

Excellent hotel

Pros: I loved the feeling that is was my home for the time i was in this hotel.
Location: Close to 2 major tube stations both Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate as welll as bus services and Hyde Park across the road.
This hotel met every need. The room was great. This is a big hotel and yet the staff were so personable. The doorman was always keen to be friendly. They were always around with a hello, a smile and met every need no matter how small or large. The advice from the concierge was always spot on. I felt like i was in a small family hotel and yet the facilities were top class of an international large hotel. It helped to make my 2 weeks in London the best holiday ever!

We wanted a flat so we could have more room but couldn't find one that was air conditioned in July. So we made hotel reservations. We had five people. Two took a twin room. The other three took double with rollaway bed. We were wall to wall beds in that room! This is common in GB and since we were out if our room except for sleeping we didn't mind too much. And after a long July day of sightseeing, we were more than glad to return to our cool room. Great for sleeping!
