Family StayPosted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: The high quality of the rooms, facilities, breakfast, the welcoming and friendly manner of all staff.
The hotel staff were very welcoming and professional, the room was excellent, we had a fantastic view of the race course and the room provided us with a comfortable, clean and relaxing space after a long journey. The facilities were excellent, we used the gym, swimming pool and steam/sauna rooms, my teenage children really enjoyed them as did we. The breakfast menu was extensive and of a really high quality, the chef taking orders for omelettes was friendly and despite being extremely busy maintained a sense of calm and courtesy at all times. In conclusion, fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this hotel for both families and professionals, I hope to stay again one day.

Bit far from the high way; 20 mins for Gatwick airPosted Aug 29, 2014
Pleasant stay; distance from the airport is an issue; hotel itself met my standards

Happy kids!Posted Aug 18, 2014
Stayed for two nights. Kids loved the pool and large garden with horses racing in the background! Staff couldn't have done more to make the kids happy. Lovely breakfasts as well and an ideal base to visit Hever Castle.

Very nice hotel in a quiet Surrey retreatPosted Jul 7, 2014
Nice hotel, friendly staff and very clean room. Great spa treatment. The only downsides: - the mattress is far too soft, kept on rolling over and did not get a good night sleep. Disappointing for a Marriott class. - restaurant food very nice, but quite pricey. Also could have done a more selection of menu.

Lovely Hotel for Relaxation and FunPosted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Everthing, the food was lovely, staff friendly.
We stayed in this hotel for a weeks break we had a great time playing golf, fun at the races and relaxation at the spa. All the staff were really friendly and helpful if you needed anything. We will definately go back again.

Great hotel, shame about the finer detailsPosted Jun 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Spent a 2 night Whitsun week break with family at Lingfield Park. Great location, spectacular breakfasts (watching both the golfers and the horses) and Spa relaxing. However beds not as comfortable as expected, and the pillows were far too soft. One evening meal - reserved at checkin, but not on the "list" by evening! Service slow initially (25 minutes to order) yet food great.Would stay again (but would bring own pillow!)

Something electrical buzzed in the room keeping us awake all night. Bathroom was definitely one at a time - tight and the toiletries sparing. Nothing in the fridge and complementary hot drinks basic (no biscuits). Spa changing rooms filthy, no robes or slippers. attendant didn't point out £ coin needed for locker- awkward moment! Evening meal, once shown to seats, took an hour before main arrived. Tempura tiger prawns under cooked but didn't dare send back to delay things further. Breakfast was pretty good.
