Nice hotel in a quiet areaPosted Jul 16, 2014
It's like a bed n breakfast, on the old side but it gives it a character of an old victorian style. Staff are great! The only thing negative is the very small elevator. Thank goodness mt room is on the 2nd floor.

Nice HotelPosted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Room was clean. There was a restaurant where you can have dinners. Food was tasty, and prices are OK.
Cons: Continental breakfast is OK. Unfortunately, you are getting tired from exactly same food every day.
Nice hotel close to Hide park and metro station. It is clean and pleasant. Staff is polite and attentive.

Older hotel with characterPosted Jun 14, 2014
Pros: Old world charm.
Cons: Bigger bed. We had a double in our room.
Location: Easy access to Central tube line and into the city. Across the road from Hyde Park.
This hotel is steps from Lancaster Gate tube station on the Central Line. Great for access into London central. Not much near the hotel itself, but in a nice area across the road from Hyde Park. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location but this is the first time I've stayed in a room where the fire escape went up not down

Affordable hotel, in good locationPosted May 29, 2014
Stayed here for three days mid-week. It is right next to Hyde Park, which makes it very quiet at night. It is also very close to Lancaster Gate tube station on Central line. It is clean and well-maitained and the staff are all pleasant and helpful. Only downsides were a fairly small bed and a lift which was suitable for no more than two adults.

Close to UndergroundPosted May 29, 2014
Pros: Convenience to Underrround.
Cons: Hotel needs to be updated for those kinds of rates
Location: Two minute walk to Tube.
The hotel was convenient to transportation, but generally disappointing, I will not stay there again.

The London Elizabeth HotelPosted May 23, 2014
Pros: The food and service staff and especially the location.
Cons: Was cloths could be in rooms. The furniture was extremely old and worn out. Not the kind of hotel room we are used to.
Location: Hyde Park is right across the street as is Kensington Palace. You can walk through the park and get to the Albert and Victoria museum. Notting Hill is
The hotel is in a great location directly across the street from Hyde Park, bus stop right outside the door and tube station across the street. The room was relatively clean but extremely small. The shower was so small you could not bend over without hitting the door. Soap was not left daily so we had to ask for it. The blow dryer blew up and had to get a new one. The continental breakfast was amazing and the service outstanding. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again but ask for a different room.

Room was small, but clean and affordable.Posted May 21, 2014
Pros: Good price, clean, comfortable, tasty continental breakfast. Staff was helpful.
Location: Lancaster Gate tube station, pick up spots for the hop on / hop off bus tours, Kensington Park Italian Gardens and Peter Pan statue.
The hotel has a good staff who were happy to help with advise on getting around and getting to Gatwick Airport. The room was ready for me upon arrival. It was small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included in my rate. The baked items were tasty. A room safe was provided. The hotel was located across the street from the Lancaster Gate tube station. The room rate was very reasonable, especially for London. I would recommend this hotel to anybody wishing to stay in London.
