Boutique hotel just off Oxford Street in Central London. Close to tube stops, walk to the West End for theater. Small hotel, sleek and elegant design, extremely comfortable beds with faux fur throws, huge shower with rain shower head and hand shower. Room service was extremely reasonable - eggs, toast, bacon, and coffee were less than 15 pounds.

"Stylish alternative to the city centre mainstream"
Maybe not the obvious choice for a London weekend getaway as the City is pretty much closed, but then transport is so easy - if you are willing to trade a few minutes more on the tube for more style and comfort, this is for you.

This hotel is all about the staff (apart from the amazingly comfy pillows and bedding!!). The staff at the Marriott really do take care of everything, so polite and attentive. We won't be forgetting this break in a hurry. I mentioned to the staff that it was my girlfriends birthday and they even left a cake and card in the room for when we returned - this meant a lot to us both. We will be definitely returning to this particular hotel, as we know we will get a very warm welcome and be looked after.

"Fabulous location. Great hotel. Highly recommended"
Enjoyed a wonderful stay. Hotel room spacious with view of Big Ben and London Eye. Very clean, lovely towels. In room dressing gowns and slippers. In room kettle for tea that was replenished daily. Missed not having a fridge (just the mini bar). Staff very helpful. Starbucks located just behind the hotel and it was useful to access the wifi at that location. Could walk to restaurants on South Bank, and easily walked to Buckingham Palace. If opened window we could hear Big Ben chime. Enjoyed a visit to Houses of Parliament. One of the best locations in London for a hotel. If you have the money, it is well worth staying at the hotel. We had Executive Room access, which gave free breakfast for two and then light refreshments including beer and wine in the early evening.

Surprised to find out that some food was included! Unlimited drinks, basic meals and snacks. Kids swam in pool at night. Very clean hotel. KING SIZE bed (hard to find in England).
