Fantastic modern architecture.

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: It's functional modernity. Perfect blend of modernity and comfort.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Close to central London but ideal for the Strand, King's College, Covent Garden.
Well situated in central London and close to most areas. The atrium in this hotel is fantastic and it can only be seen in person. No photograph will capture it's essence. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and it's easy to set a good temperature etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Not helpful - would not stay there again!!

Posted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: All of my comments
I arranged for a room with a bath and early check-in neither were available upon my arrival - my room was not even ready at the normal check-in time. I paid in advance for full breakfast but was charged twice for breakfast because I had it in my room - Staff were not at all helpful - the check-in desk is not even on the ground floor, you have to take a lift to get there (not great when you have heavy luggage)... The hotel is very dark, black walls, black ceilings means you can't even see the room numbers. Breakfast was meagre made even worse by having to pay for it twice - no door on the bathrooms, no full length mirrors for dressing - this hotel has been designed for the ego of the architect and NOT the comfort of the guests...VERY disappointed...

excellent location, shame about the tea!

Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: tea tray in room, cheaper toast (£4.50 per slice!)
Location: in the heart of theatreland
Lack of tea making facilities spoilt our stay, if we wanted a cuppa we had to order expensive room service.

Close to all the theatres

Hotel exceeded my expectations in all areas. I ususally spend about 50 nights a year in hotels so it is rare that a hotel surprises me. The ME London was a pleasure to stay at. I will not hesitate to book it again.

Hotel with wow actor- still room for improvement

Staff and attention to detail good, location and facilities v good but didn't appreciate sharing the corridors with bar crowds heading to the Radio rooftop - especially at night.
