Good location, close to tube station,Regents Park

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Bathroom & bedroom too small, very poorly planned.
Location: Close to Gt Portland St tube, Regents Park,Marylebone High Street,BBC and only a short stroll from Oxford Street.
Hotel in very good location. Very modern stylish inside, however more space needed in room as very cramped and bathroom not very useable. They tried to squeeze a bath and shower in so it was a climb into the bath holding onto the wall to use a very enclosed shower. Luckily we are fit, but those less agile would have struggled, not at all practical. Daft really as the lobby/corridors were huge.

Fantastic location, friendly staff

The hotel is stunning and in a very good location close to all the best attractions of the city... Our room was better than expected which was a double room that included it's very own kitchen... very handy for a quick breakfast before hitting the streets... my only issue (which is very personal depending on your own preferences) was that the bed, although beautifully dress and large, it was too hard for me so I did spend most nights waking up for not being totally comfortable... complimentary water was a nice touch too :-) would totally recommend friends and family to stay here on their next visit to London.

Nice surprise

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Very spacious room, and very convenient location
Cons: Nothing
Location: It is a ten minutes walk to Oxford street, and 15 to Soho and Covent Garden. Nearby there is an area with tons of restaurants. Subway very close.
I am not too familiar with London, so I did not realize that this hotel is located in a great area. We went every night to Soho and Covent Garden (both 10-15 minutes walk). Great restaurants also nearby, and the subway, which we never used. We were upgraded to a bigger room (wonderful surprise), and I must say the room exceeded all my expectations. Very polite staff, and I cannot find a single negative. Will certainly go back.

Unhelpful Reception and Concierge

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: location, close to train stations, and Regent's park
Cons: The level of hotel reception staff needs improvement. At least to be more friendly.
Location: Good location for train stations and Regent's park.
We booked three twin bed rooms for 6 family members in August 2014 for 4 nights. After a long journey from Japan, so disappointingly, we found all of three rooms were not twin beds room, but a king size bed. We requested to change these rooms. We all were so tired from the long flight that we really wanted to lie down and relax in a quiet room but we decided to wait for another half an hour. Regardless of that, all they did for us, was just separate the beds only 2 cm between each other. We were just shocked and realised we shouldn't have waited for this. What's worse was that the hotel reception seemed to be always busy and several times they didn't even answered the phone calls. The worst experience we had during the stay happend at the night of the last day. When we came back from dinner and scanned the room key to one of the rooms, the key didn't work. We tried and tried with two of the keys but never opend. I tried to call the reception desk from another room, but after a long waiting, he told me to come down to the reception. The receptionest was so arragant that he didn't even show simpathy or apology. Again, I felt we were treated unfairly and had to go back to the room with a security guy and showed him our passport. He didn't even explain anything but said becuase of magnetic problem. The service of hotel staff was incredibly unsatisfactory, or did I expect too much from this level of hotel in London?

Great location & experience but bait and switched.

What we booked was 2 twins for father daughter travel. We found only a single queen bed room available but for $125 additional we could have a 2 twin room with breakfast. Breakfast was good but not that good.
