Good hotel in a good location, just not perfect

Posted Nov 22, 2014
Nice modern hotel in a great location for London bridge and the surrounds. Let down by a couple of small things, not enough tea / coffee options in the room for two people, and this is the first place I have ever ordered a liquor coffee and had it served cold?? Did not complain about this and possibly should have but other than this a good nights sleep in a comfortable room.

Comfortable hotel, good location

Posted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Location, 14.00 check-in was great as we could leave our luggage and got out for the afternoon. 12 noon checkout allowed us to have a good lie in aft
Cons: Bedroom was too hot and windows did not open and air conditioning was too noisy
Location: Walking distance from Tate modern, Several reasonable restaurants nearby.
Chosen as a convenient location for a wedding in South London. Didn't actually spend a long time in the hotel but it suited our needs well.

Great Hotel

Really nice staff - issue with my check out took all of 20 seconds to fix. Staff always had a "good morning" or "good night" to share. Very helpful with directions etc.. Overall a great experience.

Great location for a break in London

Posted Nov 2, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff who made you feel welcome
Cons: Acoustics to the bedrooms facing onto a busy main road where traffic noise continued throughout the night.
Location: Leister Square and the night life of the city 15 mins by tube and if you feel up to it 30 mins walk.
Lounge and bar area warm and welcoming , great area to relax and have a nightcap at the end of a busy day exploring the city.

Modern Hotel near City Centre

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Modern design and location, good facilities though wished I made use of the gym though.
Cons: N/A
Location: Great location near London Bridge and Southwark rail/tube links. Tate Modern just across the road and would recommend the view from the shard!
Excellent modern hotel with great links to city and airports. Nearby rail and underground stations so very easy to get to. I had booked a twin room and received a double on arrival, however, this was quickly resolved and the rest of the trip was very pleasant. Didn't use the hotel restaurant as breakfast was expensive, but plenty of local eateries to try. Complementary cookie each morning was a great touch though!

Great Location!!

Posted Oct 21, 2014
The location of the hotel was fantastic. We could walk to most places and the tube stations were within a 10min walk. Our room was very comfortable. Hotel staff was great. We stayed in a privledge room. The tile grout in the bathroom was a bit moldy and the shower sprayed water all over the floor, but otherwise everything was very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for more amenities without a huge price tag.

Staff were very helpful

Pros: Friendly staff, good showers
Cons: Breakfast is too expensive
My mum had an accident in her room on her 80th birthday and the staff were very helpful and kind over the next couple of days as we organised her ambulance and healthcare. One tip - the hotel wheelchair needs new tyres
