Room small and in need of some decoration.

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Cons: Money spent on room decoration
Location: good for Shard and Tate Modern and Globe..................30 mins apprx walk to Covent Garden
Shower wouldn't turn off, when 'fixed' very stiff to use. carpet needed replacing was stained in various places, not very nice! right outside the window was the air conditioning system for the hotel.rather loud most of the time. Staff in resturant and bar very nice. would think again about going to a mecure 4*......don't think so!

Great London location. Close to everything!

Posted Jun 19, 2015
Pros: Convenient, reasonably priced, polite staff and comfortable beds!
Cons: The only annoying thing about the hotel was the constant slamming of doors by room servicing staff which make the walls shake.
Location: Pretty much behind the Globe Theatre and Tate Modern. 30 minute walk to the theatre distinct. Restaurants everywhere.
I was looking for a 10 night "home" in London where I could walk to practically everywhere. Not only did I find a great location but the Mercure London Bridge also has the perfect mix of informality and professionalism. The foyer/lounge/reception area is well set up. Quite unusual and I really liked it.

GREAT hotel for the money and the location!!!!

Posted Jun 6, 2015
I will stay here over and over again!!!! It is a 5 minute walk to the Southwark tube station, The Globe and the Thames river. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We stayed there for two weeks and when we had a problem with our room on the first day they moved us with NO questions asked! There is a market right across the street and one right behind it down the street. There is also and EXCELLENT fast food Italian restaurant across the street as well. My wife and I were not disappointed at all our entire time we stayed here and I don't think you will be either. I can't wait to come back London again!!!!

great location, great staff

We visited at the end of may lovely hotel, great staff and great location. Breakfast on the first day was great, 2nd day, they ran out off eggs, bacon, plates by the toast machine and orange juice, hot drinks brought to us but no milk. It wasnt busy but we had to ask the staff for all of the above. not very good but once they sorted out all was good. I would recommend.

Prima hotel, vlakbij Southbank en Borough Market.

Posted May 21, 2015

Convenient for South Bank and the Borough Market

Posted May 10, 2015
Pros: It was just very slick, clean and welcoming.
Location: 10 mins from London Bridge, it is well situated for all the attractions & places of interest from Tower Bridge, up the south bank to Westminster.
My wife and out two friends wanted to stay centrally to visit the South Bank, Borough Market and the general area. This hotel fitted the bill and the budget. Very smart and very clean general areas with a friendly & efficient check in. Everything was perfect and I couldn't fault the place. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the restaurant. The rooms were well appointed with an olympic sized TV and all you would expect from a quality hotel.
