Repeat visit to a hotel we like.Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: We find the hotel welcoming, well-equipped and slightly quirky in a modernist way, which we like.
Cons: Hair dryer in room - hopelessly under-powered. Take your own.
Location: It's not too much of a walk to the South Bank and Borough Market. We get taxis to other parts of London. There is a bus stop to Waterloo just outside.
It's sufficiently convenient for our needs on the South Bank and suits us well.

Good for short break.Posted Jul 22, 2015
Staff and front of house very friendly. Breakfast was one of the better breakfast buffets I've had. Very convenient location near the Southbank. I've stopped in London a lot on business and so knew the size of room always small unless you pay silly money - I was in a classic room and so again smallish room. Clean and modern though but if stopping any more than couple of nights a room upgrade is probably worth the extra money. Overall, great value and pleasant stay.

Great locationPosted Jul 15, 2015
Great location, in between 2 tube stations, approx 10 min walk from southwark & london bridge. Nicely surprised by the size of the room, we booked a standard, nice big bed, flat screen tv, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer and a room safe. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel due to the expense. I would definitely stay here again. Ordered room service - the steak sandwich was very tasty. Lovely cocktails in the bar too.

Good location, average hotelPosted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Room seemed very outdated.
Location: Great central location in Southbank. Close to the river.
We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel lobby is very nice and modern..a little misleading, as our room was very outdated. We stayed in 4 different hotels over our trip, and this was my least favorite. It is in a very good location in Southbank close to the river and central to many things. As we went during peak season and some of the other hotel fees were astronomical, I'd say it was a reasonable stay for the price.

Good locationPosted Jul 10, 2015
Pros: The location.
Cons: The rooms need an update.
Stayed for a few nights, the hotel foyer is very modern, but the rooms are a little tired, although very clean and we had three very good nights sleep even though it was hot. Just round the corner from the Globe theatre and the Tate and you can buy a great breakfast next door at 'The Table Cafe'.

Repetiremos seguro.

Room small and in need of some decoration.Posted Jun 27, 2015
Cons: Money spent on room decoration
Location: good for Shard and Tate Modern and Globe..................30 mins apprx walk to Covent Garden
Shower wouldn't turn off, when 'fixed' very stiff to use. carpet needed replacing was stained in various places, not very nice! right outside the window was the air conditioning system for the hotel.rather loud most of the time. Staff in resturant and bar very nice. would think again about going to a mecure 4*......don't think so!

Great London location. Close to everything!Posted Jun 19, 2015
Pros: Convenient, reasonably priced, polite staff and comfortable beds!
Cons: The only annoying thing about the hotel was the constant slamming of doors by room servicing staff which make the walls shake.
Location: Pretty much behind the Globe Theatre and Tate Modern. 30 minute walk to the theatre distinct. Restaurants everywhere.
I was looking for a 10 night "home" in London where I could walk to practically everywhere. Not only did I find a great location but the Mercure London Bridge also has the perfect mix of informality and professionalism. The foyer/lounge/reception area is well set up. Quite unusual and I really liked it.
