Posted Feb 3, 2015

Nice hotel close to the Kings Cross tube.

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: Close to the Kings Cross tube and many different places to eat. I was able to get a taxi conveniently!
Cons: Maybe get some new rugs on the hallways. They looked worn out and well traveled!
Location: Many things to do and different places to eat!
I thought the staff at Hotel Meridiana were very nice and friendly! I enjoyed staying in my room and it was quiet! No one seemed to be noisy just there for rest and relaxation. I will stay at this Hotel again! Thank you! Karen

Für die Grundbedürfnisse reicht es

Posted Dec 24, 2014

Decent option near King's Cross

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: Location, room.
Location: Great location for King's Cross/St Pancras/Tube. Can also walk into town from here.
The hotel itself was generally fine - decent room (more than big enough for me), good wifi, good shower. Breakfast was included in the price but I didn't have it so can't comment. The hotel is also in a handy location. The main downer was the amount of noise in the square from people returning home after a night out - I'm by no means a light sleeper but I was continually woken up until about 5AM on the Friday and Saturday nights I was here. I realise this isn't the hotel's fault, and it may have been a one-off, but it was certainly a feature of my stay. The other negative was how hot the building was (in October) - I had the window open all the time I was in my room, which kept it at a decent temperature, but the rest of the building felt very stuffy. In summary, as London hotels go, I thought this was better than average.

Perfect for low budget

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Staff Breakfast Housekeeping
Cons: Not too much. Rooms are small, but this is the building.
Location: Close to the centre. 20-40 minutes of walking to the main attractions. 2-3 minutes to the tube station.
We were received with a nice staff behaviour and smooth check-in. Compared with other hotels, it is of course less nice, but is very good for those with a small budget.

Convenient And comfortable.

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: Handy for shopping and sightseeing.
Cons: Tea in a pot.
Location: Great location
Nice and handy for visiting London, near underground and major stations, staff were friendly, not a five star hotel but room was nice, clean and comfortable what more do you need. Staff looked after our luggage on last day till we needed it. Will definitely go back, only downside was, I don't like being given tea with the bag still in the cup.

Great location

Great location - short walking distance to king's cross st pancras. Rooms are really tiny. If you have luggage, you will need to carry them down a flight of stairs if you stay downstairs.

No-frills budget hotel in good location

Posted Nov 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overnight stay whilst on theatre trip. Good central location opposite St Pancreas in quiet, quite attractive square. Certainly basic with no frills. Twin room very small with even smaller ensuite. Bedding clean and shower very effective. Quiet room at back of hotel. Imagine could be hot and stuffy in summer. Small fan on top of wardrobe. Breakfast cooked freshly but no choice, not even with sort of bread ( white sliced only) Cerial but no fruit, yogurt etc. Breakfast room tiny and some guests had to wait until places came available. OK for one night stop as long as you don't have high expectations. Location very good. Staff pleasant. Cost reasonable for central London.
