Midweek BreakPosted Aug 14, 2014
Beautiful hotel, helpful staff, ideal location 50 yards from Gloucester Road tube station, plenty of local eateries. The hotel was very expensive as you would expect. The only criticism was the charge of £10 per day for wi fi.

Great location!Posted Aug 12, 2014
Cons: Gym is small not much in equipment. Breakfast (eggs) were awful, someone needs to learn to cook proper scrambled eggs.
Near to everything, nice hotel, but nothing amazing.

Very accessible to public transportPosted Aug 2, 2014
Very close to àny London tourist spot. Even hop on hop off buses stops in the corner near the hotel. You can even take the hop on hop off bus quite late and not worry about getting tube on your way back as it stops near the hotel. Best hotel I've ever been. Even my son loves it. Bed is so comfy.

Good, centrally placed hotel.Posted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: Location and general level of comfort. Breakfast staff are very efficient.
Cons: Free wi-fi or broadband. TV seemed to lack most of the BBC stations (both television and radio).
Location: The Cromwell Road museums and South Kensington are the nearest attractions.
Hotel is clean and well-organised. Staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast is very good. Rooms have the general facilities you would expect for the price.

Excellent location ; poor maintenance & facilitiesPosted Jul 29, 2014
Cons: Maintenance of facilities, especially the air conditioning. Rooms need to be lit better. Phone charging points are away from the bed.
Location: Gloucester Rd station. Convenience stores - Waitrose, Tesco. Harrods nearby. Eating places - chinese, italian, indian, Garfunkels, KFC, Nandos, pubs
We had stayed here earlier so booked this hotel because of the location. Lots of eating places & Waitrose nearby and two steps from Gloucester Road station. Hotel was a disappointment this time. Quite a few issues : London was HOT in July and their air conditioning was kaput. We had booked club room but it was sweltering. They upgraded us to a suite but the ac was not functional there either - nor in the breakfast room. Rooms are very poorly lit. They need to revamp their facilities. We had booked a triple room through Expedia and paid full amount in advance - however, hotel system was not updated and they were charging us again for the third person. Only after we protested and showed Expedia receipt did they withdraw the charge. They have also started charging for keeping luggage in their store room 3 pounds per bag per night - even though we stayed with them & then came back after 3 days for second stay

Hot very close to underground.Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Room, Air conditioning, Handy to tube station.
Cons: Cost of drinks and food are extortionate.
Location: The Hotel is located in Kensington, a 5 minute jog from Kensington Palace Gardens. However the tube is required to go further afield.
POSITIVES: Nice Hotel which is clean, good spacious room and it has good comfortable beds and air conditioning. Staff are helpful and aim to please. The hotel is right across the street from Gloucester Road Tube Station which is really handy for getting around to any part of London. NEGATIVES: Only one thing that I found disappointing is the price of drinks at the bar, £9 for a glass of wine and almost £10 for a bacarrdi with coke. I would recommend purchasing your drinks elsewhere. Also breakfast is priced expensively, there is a coffee shop / eatery beside tesco which is 1 minute walk from the front door. They are very affordable and staff/service is great.
