Some Pros, but more Cons.....

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Cons: Wifi, cleaner, update rooms.
Location: Location is great. 1/2 block from the tube!!!!
Spent 11 nights here so I feel that is more then sufficient time to get a feel for a hotel. Upon checkin we decided to upgrade to club level. That was an addition $35 per day but included free wifi, breakfast and access to the club level hangout in the evening (we only used that once). All in all, it was not worth it. The wifi was basically a joke. Very spotty connection if it could even find the server. I had to go down to the lobby to get a better connection or log on at 3-4am to get a strong signal. You also could only have one person on at a time! The breakfast was plenty but the exact same thing every....single....day..... Housekeeping was not great....there was a LOT of surfaces that you could seriously wipe with your finger a have it covered with dust. The toiletries were also hit and miss. I felt like because we were there so long that they didn't clean as well. The first night we were there they put us in a room overlooking an atrium....that night they had a party and it was ridiculously loud. Kept us up for hours. However, I spoke to Ramona at the front desk about it the next morning and she was great about it. They moved us to room 511 and the location was good and quiet. The best thing this hotel has going for it is the front desk staff and the closeness to the tube! That part was brilliant!

Decent hotel, great location

10 out of 10 for location. Just round the corner from a tube station, 10 mins walk to the National History Museum, lots of local eateries etc. Room was ok and staff were helpful but there was never enough tea and milk and we kept having to ask for more. Also only one packet of biscuits for 2 of us! Also, view from our window was a concrete wall!

A rough hotel with falling apart facilities!

Pros: Nothing
A rough hotel with falling apart facilities, faulty internet, noisy weekend, missing iron, despite having an ironing board in room.

We love the location!

Posted Apr 1, 2014
Pros: We like the convenience of the location, and the presence of a Singaporean restaurant in the hotl!
Cons: Perhaps eventually to update the bathrooms!
Location: It is very close to Gloucester station, for the Picadilly, district, and Circl lines underground.
The hotel is very close to the underground station, Gloucester station, which is on the Picadilly line going to Heathrow airport. The room we had was bright, airy and clean, a very comfortable bed. It is functional and clean but not luxurious or fancy which is not what we were looking for. The staff was courteous and helpful. We'll definitely T return.

Three night Stay.

Pros: Comfortable bed. Attractive lobby.
Cons: The rooms do not have a exhaust fan in the bathroom, making it hot, steamy and sometimes smelly.
Location: Good location, near the underground.
Check in time was arranged for 1:00 pm, but we were told rooms would not be ready until 3:00 pm. We had to upgrade.

Tired and basic hotel room

Pros: Location.
Cons: Refurbish rooms
Carpet dirty and stained. Armchair worn through on arms. Bathroom old. Facilities and room quality better in a Travellodge.

Great location

Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: The location was brilliant
Cons: The lack of free wifi in the hotel.
Location: Gloucester Rd tube across the road. Museums 5 mins walk away with Hyde Park just slightly further.
Fab hotel with great staff and so close to transport, museums and fantastic eating places. It's only a short walk to Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall. Hotel staff were lovely and the hotel room was spacious and well equipped.
