Nice stay and great city
“Great location in Mayfair on Grosvenor Square”
Room a spacious and well appointed, staff members are extremely helpful and courteous. The mattress, however, is sinking like a hammock! Walking distance to New Bond St, Mount St, Berkeley Square, etc...
“Great service in a centrally-located hotel”
A lovely but slightly pricey hotel located near some great parks and within walking distance of some of London's attractions. The room was very comfortable, if a bit small, and the light switches could have been more accessible. A small but reasonably-equipped gym. The nearest Underground station was a bit of a walk away so I used cabs to get to some of the stations with my luggage.
“Formidable”
This Hotel is one of the finest in the Mayfair area of London. Its service, quality of food, breakfast and overall location make it a formidable place to stay for business or pleasure. I would strongly recommend it to anyone and have already done so. My next visit to London will certainly include a stay at the Millennium Mayfair.
“Michael”
This had been probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had in a major metropolitant city such as London! Once thru check in, we proceeded into room... however the newly issued electronic key did not work proverly and we had to go back to reception to reset the key... Running forward, the key/lock kept on reseting prctically every day. when told about this, General Manager "explained" that the locks are quite old and need to be replaced. More: wireless Internet access is not available for more than one hour. Even more: soft drinks in the minibar aren't replaced on daily basis. Business Center personnel - rude and unprofessional...
“London”
Excellent hotel and Service
“A fine place to stay”
Very comfortable for an extended business trip. The immediate neighborhood is pretty sleepy but it's a short walk to SOHO or Piccadilly. You can hail a cab out front, also pretty near a few different underground stations.
“No Stars here just Asteroids”
We checked in after a long trek from Cornwall. Shocked to find out that the parking was outrageously more costly than your most expensive US parking structures. They charged for WIFI usage which was far more expensive than an overrated Interent Cafe. If you try calling Expedia on the 1-800 numbers, the Millennium will charge for that as well. The sausages for an expensive English breakfast was no different from the ones served at a pub in Andover. It was all breading and no meat. Finding only asteroids and no stars, we fled this place that offered better quality for our money.
“Great Hotel, Great Location”
I've stayed at the Millennium Mayfair before. This is truly a wonderful hotel and a great location in London. The first time I stayed, we had a room towards the back entrance on Adams Row, it was nice and quiet. My son as his wife came along, he is 6'6', one of the reasons I picked this hotel is because the have King size beds. Almost un-heard of in hotels in England! This last time I went to London and stayed in the Millennium Mayfair, our room was over looking Grovsenor Square. That was also a great room. It was warm so we had the window open all night, you do hear a little street noise. But hey! Your in London, how can you complain. A truly great place to stay!
