Pros: The size of the room.
Cons: More trained staff on reception.
The check in was terrible with a wait of about an hour. There was one trained person with a trainee and about 14 people waiting. The check out was just as difficult.

Pros: Petra and Kevin at the concierge desk were awesome. Their help airline check in despite difficulties with air line web site was above and beyond.
Cons: Not assigning rooms which have obvious problems.
Location: It is near Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace.the Bond Street tube is within easy walking distance.
Our first room was stale and smelled of mildew. The second was much better, but the shower squirted all over and one wall had loose wallpaper.

Excellent Location

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: The location - in the heart of Mayfair, very safe area as the American Embassy is across the street, and it is possible to walk just about everywhere.
Cons: Housekeeping, some bathrooms need updating, and possibly some instructions about small children racing around at all hours.
Location: Shepherd Market, Oxford Street, Bond Street, Hyde Park, everything you could want to do in London is within easy reach. Bus and Tube Stations close
I have stayed at the Millennium for many years, and am a member of their Loyalty Club. The staff are good, particularly the Concierge Desk and the Reception staff. Rooms are good, with high ceilings, and are generally in good condition although looking a little tired in some cases. The hotel was very full and busy during my stay, particularly with lots of young children who loved to spend the evenings racing up and down the hotel corridor. The Club Room facilities are now more restricted, and not up to standard. I also find the housekeeping leaves very much to be desired, particularly as most of them have problems with English as their first language.

Vardags

Perfect central location

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Pros: The fact it is centrally located and near everything we wanted to do.
Cons: The ability to change the heating/air conditioning in the room. However, when we asked for it to be switched off, it was done promptly.
Location: The hotel is within walking distance of the shops on Oxford Street; slightly longer walking distance to all the theatres and to Hyde Park.
This hotel is perfectly situated in central London and easy to reach shops, parks, theatres etc. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. What more could you want?

Millenium in Mayfair

Stayed for just one night and found the hotel provided excellent facilities and the staff were excellent. One point I must make is that the bathroom could do with a bit of a makeover noticed a few cracked floor tiles. Apart from that everything was fine.
