Good hotel, walking distance to shops and convenient. A little bit older fixtures in the bathrooms and the internet is slow, other than that i would recommend it

Nice hotel on Grosvenor SquarePosted Jun 19, 2015
Pros: Location andspacious room.
Location: This hotel is near Oxford Street ... a couple minutes walk to Selfridge's and other London shopping. Nothing in central London is too far away.
The locaion of this hotel was a very good point. It is across the street from Grosvenor Square, which adds some green to your visit ... London is not compable to Paris or Madrid, for example, with lots of tree-lined boulevards and I like a little space. The hotel is very modern, clean ... but not the European boutique hotel that I likethe most. For Americans, however, it has the expansive lobby, restaurant, bar, etc., with a very classy decor. The hotel staff is friendly enough, but not the kind of intimately friendly staff that you find in a smaller hotel. It gives good value ... a solid, classy hotel that is not mind-blowing expensive in one of the nicest areas of London.

Well situated, reasonably managed, comfortablePosted Jun 17, 2015
Hotel has a nice quiet location in Mayfair next to a small park. You can walk to nearby major shopping streets and restaurants and otherwise are a 10-15 minute cab ride from most everything. The hotel is nicely kept though furnishings are a bit tired. The bathroom had a tub/shower combination but I understand some rooms have only bathtubs - something to watch for. Bed and linens were very good and they have a nice staffed lounge with drinks and snacks that we were able to access with our club room package. Breakfast is in their restaurant and has a nice assortment. The hotel is not cheap but given its location and its level, it is not overly expensive either. Overall we were, thankfully, pleased with the hotel.

Good hotel.Posted Jun 10, 2015
Nice hotel in a nice safe neighborhood. Across the street from a nice park and the US Embassy. Within 10 walk to two underground stations. Walking distance (15-20 min) to Carnaby Street, Bond Street and Piccadilly Circus for shopping and dining. Closer for pubs and restaurants. Great buffet breakfast in the hotel. Concierge was the best.
