Slow to rectify issuesPosted Jul 26, 2015
Cons: Condition of rooms and training of staff.
Booked in and the room was not at all cool, persevered but a/c was faulty. Engineer visited no change, he said give it an hour to see. still no good, advised reception but still nothing. Had to make numerous calls to get a room change. Also a nightmare to get wifi!

Fantastic LocationPosted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Location to everything.
Cons: Updates need to be made in order to keep up with other hotels in the area.
Whilst this hotel claims to be a four star I would say it is more of at 3.5 Star. The location for visiting London could not be better. In the heart of Grosvenor Square you can walk anywhere within a matter of minutes. Tube (Bond Street) is less than a five minute walk. The hotel itself is slightly dated and could do with some updates. The rooms are fairly basic, air conditioning does not really work, it blows like a fan but does not cool the room! That was my biggest compliant, as I chose this hotel because it had Air conditioning. Also you must pay for wifi!!! It was 10 pounds a day and is fairly slow at best. In todays society most hotels include the wifi with the room. Over all thought the location makes up for ecerything, and because of that I would stay here again.

Great location, reasonably comfortablePosted Jul 20, 2015
The only downside is that this hotel is a bit expensive for what it offers. But for this location I wasn't expecting value for money. I'd have expected a more comfortable bed mainly, all other aspects, such as cleanliness and service was great.

Good hotel but can find better for the pricePosted Jul 10, 2015
Good location, nice rooms, good breakfast. it's not a bad hotel. Not so great: value for money, rooms are easily over 300 pound and they make you pay extra for internet (and a very bad connection!) and checking in early even if it is 2 hours and the room is ready. Would try to find better value for my money next time.

nickel and dimesPosted Jul 3, 2015
It was a surprise that an expensive hotel would charge 10 pounds per day for wifi when it is free almost everywhere else. Upon arrival they immediately began selling me a 50 pound per day upgrade, since the room I booked was "just a basic room with twin beds."

Good hotel, walking distance to shops and convenient. A little bit older fixtures in the bathrooms and the internet is slow, other than that i would recommend it

Nice hotel on Grosvenor SquarePosted Jun 19, 2015
Pros: Location andspacious room.
Location: This hotel is near Oxford Street ... a couple minutes walk to Selfridge's and other London shopping. Nothing in central London is too far away.
The locaion of this hotel was a very good point. It is across the street from Grosvenor Square, which adds some green to your visit ... London is not compable to Paris or Madrid, for example, with lots of tree-lined boulevards and I like a little space. The hotel is very modern, clean ... but not the European boutique hotel that I likethe most. For Americans, however, it has the expansive lobby, restaurant, bar, etc., with a very classy decor. The hotel staff is friendly enough, but not the kind of intimately friendly staff that you find in a smaller hotel. It gives good value ... a solid, classy hotel that is not mind-blowing expensive in one of the nicest areas of London.
