Great London hotel!

Posted Dec 30, 2013
Pros: Beautiful room, great staff, great location.
Location: Centrally located, right down street from Earls Court tube station, great choice of restaurants and pubs near by.
Great location, beautiful rooms, super staff. Spent Christmas week 2013 there with my wife and daughters and it was great. If you are going to London, this is the hotel to stay at.

Hotel in upscale suburb of London

Posted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: The hotel was clean. Though we were concerned about staying on ground floor facing street with traffic, the room was very quiet at night.
Cons: Wifi was very slow. The process for granting access was kind of odd.
Location: 5 minute walk to Earl's Court Tube station. Good shopping and restaurant variety within 20 minute walk.
Nice hotel, helpful staff. Had to call front desk one night because our AC wasn't working and the room was warm. Was told that the temp was being controlled from the front desk, for a block of rooms including ours for reasons that I couldn't understand. Ultimately, she turned our air on and the room become comfortable again so we could get to sleep. It was kind of odd. The WIFI was dreadfully slow for the entire 4 days we stayed there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was convenient to everything most people come to London for, especially if you get comfortable using the Tube.

Convinient hotel in Kensington

Posted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: The staff is friendly and efficient.
Cons: The breakfast was acceptable but not much more.
Location: Kensington is a pleasant area. Close to museums and shopping. Many restaurants and bars nearby.
A pleasant hotel in a good location. In London, at this price, the facilities are as good as you can get.

No room!

Posted Mar 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
To be honest I blame hotels.com for this but we had originally booked 2 nights and had to reduce this to 1 night due to work commitments. It took 2 long phone calls with hotels.com to have the message passed to the hotel but I was assured it had been done and the room would be held. We arrived 2pm and were told we were a no-show so they had no room for us. We were told they would do what they could and come back at 4 when a room would be ready. Eventually, after being given a further 2 return times, our room was ready at 6.30pm! So not exactly great value for money when we had so few hours with a room. Lots of other guests seemed to have the same wait. Apart from that the stay was uneventful, breakfast was good and location was very handy for tube and museums.

Staff fine, room not to expectations

Posted Mar 14, 2013
When we arrived we were given a room with with two single beds, we had actually booked a double room, we were then moved to a room with a double room which also was used as a disabled persons room, No carpets, noise could be heard from the adjoining room. The room was on the lower ground floor.

Call hotel if you need extra bed!!!

Posted Mar 14, 2013
Pros: Good English Breakfast included daily.
Cons: Front desk staff
Location: Short walk to Earl's Court tube station and Kensington Gardens.
We had a problem with check-in, arriving early we were told to return after 3 pm. We returned after 5 pm and still had to wait 30 minutes for our room. Also, be aware that the photos provided on Expedia are not representative of the standard room provided. The standard room is very small. The hotel notes that a roll-away bed is available for an additional guest but the room was not large enough to accomodate the bed. If you need a cot / roll-away bed, be sure to contact the hotel directly in advance of your travel to insure they can accomodate your needs.

Stayed here on honeymoon very clean and close to the earls court tjbe station. You are in zone 1 for the tube so that makes it easy to get around. Plenty of pubs j the area.
