Excellent Value HotelPosted Oct 18, 2013
Great little hotel. Close to rail and on a bus route. Excellent breakfast with lots of fresh top grade food. Best value in London. Will definitely stay here for all our future theatre trips. Outstanding!

Clean, practical, not for light sleepers thoughPosted Mar 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was a very cheap and convenient stay as we were visiting friends in the area and didn’t want to crowd them. The room was basic but included everything you might want (including kettle, tea and biscuits) and was clean. The guy on reception was very friendly. The only thing letting it down was the lack of soundproofing – I could hear people talking and showering in other rooms (even though there were no ‘rowdy’ guests, noise was at normal level) and the train going past the window kept me from sleeping in in the morning. The fridge in the room was also noisy but I just unplugged it. Otherwise, it's in a very quiet location. Free wifi and the use of the kitchen for breakfast were a really nice touch. If you’re not a light sleeper I’d recommend it.

Apart from the beds being too short, we both 6ft & 6ft 2, it was a pleasant stay. Friendly reception, although he took my partners bag upstairs & left me with mine, hmmm!! Room was spacious, basic & very clean. We didn't use the communal kitchen but it looked very clean.

I stayed here for 1 week and found the location for travelling into Central London very good from the nearby train station. Also nice restaurants in the local town. Clean room with shared kithcen facilities if you need them. Also free broadband for all guest which is a nice touch. Would stay again

Perfect. Clean, welcoming, convenient.Posted May 6, 2012
Very clean and the young man who runs it takes great pride in looking after you. Nothing was a problem to him. The kitchen was clean and the fridge stocked with food for all. This included milk, margarine, bread, bacon, eggs, cheese and ham. There were also cereals and Buscuites. You can make your lunch before you leave for the day. Also you are a three minute walk to a supermarket, pubs and restaurants. The station is about three minutes walk as well and the trip into Victoria Station London takes 15-20 Minutes. If you have kids there is the back yard for them to run around and have a play. The web site pictures are true to the experience. A great place and so different from the sterility of yet another hotel. If you come from a multi-cultural country like Australia you will be very comfortable. Peter from Australia.

great value. would recommendPosted Dec 4, 2011
This apart/hotel has been taken over by new management. All the areas are clean. Good breakfast & viking area. Lounge with tv. The room number 5. Was a good size with wardrobe, desk, fridge & tea & coffee making facilities with ensuite shower, toilet & basin. Ensuite was quite small but clean. Had towels, hand soap & shower gel. would definitely recommend this aparthotel for anyone looking for basic but clean night breakaway.

Nice, clean, comfortable place with nice servicePosted Sep 19, 2011
The hotel is more like a B&B than a typical hotel. Is a flat turned into a hotel. It is quite clean and our room was nicely furnished. The hotel owner was very friendly. I have to say I expected less for the price. It was further from the center than we expected, but there is good transport service. There's a DELICIOUS, cheap, award-winning Indian restaurant right around the corner that's open until midnight that we highly recommend -- Mirch Masala. Other than that, not sure what else to day. The bed was really nice, there's an iron in the room, there's a small fridge in the room, and the bathroom is quite nice.
