Very family friendly.

Pros: How child friendly it was. Wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the facilities more.
Cons: The evening meals. Expensive for what you get as they don't come with potato or chips.
Location: Perfect for trips into London and close to heathrow airport. Very easy to get to.
We stayed at the novotel heathrow with out two children age 6 and 2. Upon checking in they were both given a gift each and the lady was very talkative and patient with the children. I believe the lady's name was rupinda or something similar. The room had plenty of space. Our children were happy. We didn't have an outside view but our room was over looking the restaurant which was nice enough. There was a play area for the children right next to the restaurant which also had an xbox and 2 computers just outside which were all free to use, there is also a free swimming pool, gym and a room with hoola hoops and exercise balls. The room was clean enough, few marks here and there but nothing I would really complain about. Checking out was also straight forward and quick and easy. The only thing I was disappointed about in the hotel is the food. Breakfast was lovely and I cant complain about that but the evening meal was expensive. I ordered lamb but it just comes with lamb which didn't have much meat and a small bowl of salad, it was probably about a mouth ful or so. You can ordered chips and potato separate but I didn't realise or I would of done that. The childrens meals were great though and there was plenty on the plate. Other than that I cant complain and we would definitely use this hotel again.

Nice hotel, close to Heathrow

Nice hotel. Staff was friendly, helpful. Room was smaller than expected but clean. Regular shuttle (Hoppa) to Heathrow provides easy access to the Tube and Heathrow Express. Would recommend to a friend.

A perfect airport hotel

Posted Aug 16, 2014
It went beyond my expectation overall. A perfect hotel for families with young children - kids stay and eat free. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Another tip to consider is to use hotel arranged airport taxi/carservice. I feel it's much better value than the Hotel Hopper or a regular taxi: Hotel Hopper costs £4.5 one way per adult (plus scheduled wait time); a regular airport taxi costed me £14; instead, through Novotel arranged car service, it only costed me ( 2 kids) £10, exactly as staff informed me.

Great stop over

I booked the hotel due to the easy travel into London for a theatre trip with my son, hotel staff were excellent really helpful. It was nice to have use of the pool not huge but was warm and ideal for both adults and families, there was kids area including Xbox! I would definitely use this hotel again hopper bus direct to airport to pick up tube straight into centre of city or 10 mins drive to Osyerly tube station with car park.

Pleasant surprise

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Child-friendly dining and facilities. Cleanliness and "airy" feel of the ground floor.
Location: Can't really comment: it was near Heathrow, which was the primary factor for this booking.
After a two week driving tour with four children, we just needed a place to bunk down before our long flight back to the US. The Novotel surprised us with its kid play area (including Wii), good food at the on-site restaurant, free breakfasts for children with the purchase of adult breakfasts, good bed and showers. What was a practical choice resulted in a very good way to end a holiday. Would go back.
