“Not for Business Travellers”

While I can reluctantly accept that some hotels are still sufficiently behind the curve to be still charging for wireless internet, and the Novotel Group clearly being one of those - to charge for wireless and still only have old-fashioned plug-in broadband is entirely unacceptable. This means you pay...and the only place you can use the service is the hotel lobby. Or you could go to Starbucks. This is not acceptable. Not coming here again.

“Very Nice Hotel!”

“Splendid London Experience”

Very impressed with the Novotel St Pancras. The view of the London skyline from my 15th floor room was mightily imressive with every major landmark visible. All the staff that I encountered were top class in their attitude at this well presented and, for my purposes, extremely well located hotel, Would definitely stay again, although I would be hoping that my old friend the fried egg would make an appearance at the otherwise outstanding breakfast buffet and that the operation of the shower would not require a degree in mechanics to master.

“Not the greatest but fine”

The room was on the first floor overlooking the street, but it was the only one available at 7am so we took it. It was noisy. The room was clean but worn down. It was an OK place to stay. The staff was very nice however. It is very close to St. Pancras station where the Eurostar leaves to Paris. If you don't mind walking, you can reach some nice neighborhood areas. But careful, you can also end up in some scary areas too.

“Most convenient”

In addition to being comfortable and friendly, this hotel is so very convenient to the tube. We had no trouble finding the correct rail lines to all the major sites and we were just steps away from any transportation. Would go there again and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

“Great location”

Hotel very modern. Nice bar. Very green room......lights and outlets only work when room key is inserted in wall. When you leave for the day, pull key and everything....including AC, goes off until your return. A 5 minute walk from St. Pancras International train station. We had taken the Eurostar from Paris. Pubs, marts, drug stores. The Underground also in train station. Several bus stops nearby. Polite staff.

“No complaints”

I stayed for 3 nights in April 2011. St. Pancras International train Station is a 5 minute walk, King's Cross tube station is the same. Super convenient for travelers. Not all that close to things like Big Ben or London Bridge, atleast not walking close. Good Pubs and restaurants in a 10-20 block radius. Hotel was nice, upgraded to a King Bed and the room was great for myself and girlfriend.

“Excellent location and quality”

The hotel location was a convenient 2 block walk from St Pancras station which covers both the London Underground and the Eurostar line. There are several pubs nearby and the rooms were larger and less expensive than comparable hotels located closer to central London. We would definitely return! Taxi service from Heathrow was very expensive ($90 one way!) so use the Heathrow express and the Underground. Takes a bit more time, but less than $10 to get there.

Area recommendations

This is a great option if you are visiting London for Arsenal football games. Only 3 Underground stops from the stadium northbound, less than 10 minutes southbound to central London site-seeing.
