Novotel London Tower BridgePosted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Its location, bar and atmosphere.
Cons: Information regarding work, reliability following upgrade and staff responsiveness to issue.
Hotel was being upgraded which I feel should have been made clear at point of booking. On arrival you were advised that work commenced - ie contractors at 9am and finished at 6pm. They started earlier than this - 8.20 which was consistent knocking / fit out type work of room. I was trying to work at the time and this was annoying. My room had received the upgrade but had a broken toilet seat and the sink when the water was let out sent the water all over the floor as the down pipe was not fitted correctly. I advised this on checkout expecting a reaction from staff - there was little concern or response. I needed to be at a meeting nearby or I would have likely escalated my thoughts as the PR in the hotel is based all around the service based nature and responsiveness.

Good location for Tower and Shard.Posted Nov 16, 2014
Stayed here for a night on a whistle stop tour of London. Get a tour bus pass, great for hopping on and off. One we had gave free trip on Thames as well. Views from Shard are excellent, although tickets are expensive.

Nice-ish, modern Hotel, close to tube & riverPosted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Great position for transport links to see London Sites.
Cons: More bath plugs? Food - very ordinary.
Location: Central position, good transport links.
This Hotel is OK. No more - no less. I'm glad we got it on an expedia deal - if i'd paid £372 (std room rate), I would have been bitterly disappointed. However, it is good for a base in London to get out & see the sites. Near to tube, bus and river transport links. I couldn't recommend the food - but there is plenty of culinary great stuff all about. Strangest thing was when I requested a plug for our bath that evening. Reception said I could have one between 8 and 9 next morning !!!! Do you actually have to book a bath plug slot in advance? Weird!

Lovely hotel very close to The Tower of LondonPosted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: We liked the convenient location, the rooms were clean and modern with lovely bathroom and shower facilities and the bed was comfortable. Good food.
Cons: A very minor gripe but I found the pillows to be slightly hard and thought they would have been better if they were a bit softer and plumper.
Location: Very close to Tower of London and The Shard.
We were in London to see the poppies at the Tower of London, the hotel was very convenient being a 5 minute walk from the tube station and just around the corner from the Tower of London. We arrived late in the evening and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, modern. I would stay here again and would recommend to others looking for good accommodation at reasonable rates.

Great location and good staff . Our Family room was clean and perfect for our needs. Sadly the bar and breakfast prices where a bit crazy but alas this is central London I guess.

Fantastic hotelPosted Oct 29, 2014
Will definetly be staying at the novetel again, excellent location, high quality standard of room very helpful attentive staff. Very close to central london - tower bridge. We were on a site seeing weekend and got the open top bus which i would highly recommend. We go the tickets from the hotel and the bus stop was just just at the end of the road.

Good location near to the tower of LondonPosted Oct 26, 2014
Hotel under renovation was not aware until we opened door to corridor there were tools everywhere no hazard boards were up and the receptionist never mentioned the fact that there was work being carried out. The room was comfortable but there was only minimal tea coffee and milk probably wouldn't stay there again
