Great hotel - exceeded expectations

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Smart, spotless room, with nice features - thoughtfully designed. Great access to Tower Hill tube station (100 metres), for District and Circle lines. Major landmarks visible and nearby include: Tower of London, Tower Bridge, St Pauls and some modern buildings: The Gherkin, The Shard. Across the road is Doubletree Hilton. Go to top floor for a Skylounge drink (£££) and nice views.

Easy access 2 Tower Hill tube. Gd breakfast!

Posted Apr 1, 2014
Pros: Location, price and staff.
Cons: The standard rooms could be nicer. Gym could be bigger.
Location: Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Tate Museum of Modern Art, Thames River and others.
We stayed on two different occassions, once in a Standard and the other in a Superior Room. The Superior was nicer although pricier. I would consider next time paying the higher price for the better room. Breakfast was good with lots of choices including healthy choices. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. There were always plenty of people around to assist, willingly and with a smile. Good bar with the Premier League and La Liga games. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location for visiting central London.

Cons: We thought the food was quite pricey.
Location: Great location for sightseeing London, Tower Hill tube only meters away, and only a very short walk (less that 5minutes) to see the tower of London.
Hotel was clean and well looked after, staff polite and helpful, I was surprised with its great central location just how quiet it was at night.

Novotel Tower Bridge

Posted Mar 17, 2014
Hotel and facilities very good. We arrived very early in the morning and room was available. Location excellent. However, I booked hotel without breakfast and prepaid, was informed on arrival breakfast was now included. We had breakfast following day and on check out was informed that payment was required and we had been wrongly informed on arrival that breakfast was included. Put a downer on our stay especially as we could have paid significantly less for breakfast just minutes from the hotel.

Close to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London

Posted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: Clean, modern, nice size rooms, great staff, nice bar
Location: Right behind the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Within walking distance to do a Jack the Ripper Tour
We stayed here and took a Jack the Ripper Tour in the east end. Hotel is just near the station and within walking distance of our tour. Hotel and bar staff were great. Room was really nice. Could hear a little bit of noise on the street from party goers and the bed was a little hard for me but overall would recommend this hotel

Excellent location. standard hotel

Pros: Its location.
Cons: The toilet is separate to the bathroom and is tiny, its like being enclosed in a box its no good if you are big. Sofa bed uncomfortable.
Location: Location is great right by the Tower of London.
The room we were allocated had a broken shower and air conditioning and no plug for the bath. The contrast on the TV made everyone look the colour orange. So we complained and immediately allocated another room which had none of these problems. The rooms are adequate but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable according to my son. We did not eat at the hotel but were very pleased with the location.
