Worst hotel! Not worth the money!Posted Nov 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
This place is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The room barely had space for you to walk around. The entire hotel smelled like smoke. We were their during the winter and our heater didn't work!! The water pressure...lets just say no pressure. And the didn't refill or toliet paper. We had to ask for it on our way out, the guys response was "I'll had you a roll when you come back". I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Stay away

Not AdvisablePosted Sep 14, 2013
Mold and I mean at least a couple inches thick on the roof of the shower. No A/C at all, no proper ventilation left the room feeling literally like a sauna- outside in the summer was cooler! Wireless internet doesn't work in the rooms. Location is close to Paddington station and of course a couple of blocks to Lancaster Gate tube. Facilities were quite dated.

Poor, old and terrible hotel.Posted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: Nothing I liked, everything goes wrong.
Cons: The whole hotel need refurbishment. At least, the hotel must provide lift and ventilation the room. Very hot in the room.
Location: The location is not as ideal as mentioned. Nothing to do nearby. The only good things is closed to station, but what come with it is noise.
We booked a double room, when arrive the twins room was given The room is totally opposite as advertised. The room cannot be exchanged for the double room. I was told all rooms were fully booked. Felt angry because we booked this room two week earlier. The explanation given was because they made mistake, and also some other customer was extending their stays. The double room was given to them. The nightmare started. The twins room provided was small and hot. The total layout is so cramp. Feel so humid and hardly breathe in the room. We had open the window whole night. But the hotel is just next to a busy junction, the noise was unbearable and we could not sleep probably at night. The bed is so soft and you know its been used for many many years. They so called had refurbished the hotel RECENTLY. What i can see is a totally lie story. All furniture are so old. The toilet hardly fit a big guy, too tight. The toilet was flooded after shower. Shower water was weak. There was no lift in the hotel, my room is located on the top floor (fourth). I am not sure how can they get three star rating for the hotel. It more like hostel than three star hotel experience. Please stop lying to people, take out the three star. WIFI is so weak at the room until you gave up Highly not recommended, very disappointing, very bad experience. Please stay away from this hotel. Its a totally disaster for us.
bed and breakfast hotelPosted Aug 28, 2013
It is very near the paddington tube and train station that connects you to Central London . Room is not what it was when we booked it . It should be 1 double bed and 2 single bed but we had 2 double bed instead . It is fairly clean but the toilet with shower is too small . No hairdryer , no iron and iron table In the room.We had to borrow from the reception but they will get it if another costumer needs it. There is no kettle and coffee tea sachet as other hotels offered it . English breakfast consists of 2 eggs , 1 bacon and spoonful of beans and toasts , a glass of juice snd choice of cofee or tea . Staffs were accomodating .

Good location for seeing LondonPosted Aug 25, 2013
Pros: Breakfast & location
Cons: Bathroom & lift facilities need to be maintained. Also light bulbs were broken and the TV had to be tuned in order to watch things other than the for
Location: Easy walk to food & transport
Elevator was unreliable & not accessible to all floors. One of the en suite sinks was cracked a caused a flood on the bathroom floor

DISAPPOINTINGPosted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: Still thinking))
Location: Close to tube so quite good
My room was not ready on arrival at 3pm... a good start. and was located in the dungeon of the large large house, so I actually felt quite secure. Felt this was poor value for the rate charged.... but thankfully only required one night. Discovered there are masses of such properties in the Paddington area, so if you have time take a good look there must be a few better hotels. Close to the tube.

Disappointed with room comfort & hotel facilitiesPosted Jul 14, 2013
Pros: Close to Paddington station. Staff were helpful.
Cons: Quality of room comfort and facilities
Location: There is nothing much to do nearby.
Pros. : Close to Paddington station. Staff were helpful. Cons : As expected room was very small for a family of four. There is not much space in the room. There is no phone, fan or air conditioner in the room. Also there is no proper ventilation inside the room so in hot summer days its hard to stay inside the room. Beds quality was so poor that all spring mattress were out of shape. There is no lock to the bathroom so if you are going with family its little odd. You don't only small cheap soap no shampoo or conditioner.I think, we paid lot for this hotel than the average rate in this area. Breakfast choices were very limited and its same greasy breakfast (ready to eat) every day.
