Very noisy

Posted May 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
The aircon unit was making loud noises all day and night even though it was completely turned off. It was mpossible to sleep with the noise. The customer service wasn't helpful at all to solve the issue.

Great location for sightseeing.

Pros: Decor and general quality of cleanliness and standard of fittings.
Cons: Uncomfortable bed
Location: Very handy for the Bakerloo and District and Circle tube. Also good M&S for food.
We were pleasantly surprised as to the location and condition of room. Only criticism of quality was very hard mattress which led to us folding the duvet - which could have been a better quality too - in half, to make a 'topper'. Perhaps a shelf unit in the spacious shower room could have added to the comfort, otherwise very well equipped.

Concept apartment

Posted Oct 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
the apartment is very nice and i enjoyed stay there. I got a comfort bedroom, lovely balcony, clean bathroom and functional kitchen. there is a green park in front of window which is very cool. Wifi is fast in accessing. but there are few little points to improve. please prepare hair dryer for each room, its quiet important for girls. since we stay for 5 nights, its better if can offer some more bath towels and shampoo (shower gel).

Rip off

Posted Sep 21, 2012
Pros: Save your money!
Cons: Bed, noise, air unit, neighborhood & price for what you get.
Location: SKETCH!!
HORRIBLE highway noise! It was non stop all night, we barely got any sleep the two nights were stayed here. The police station is right around the corner and the sirens from the police cars were non stop all night. The surrounding area of the apartment itself was very sketch and I myself (mid 20s female) didn't feel safe walking around alone. The air unit made an awful humming noise on and off all night (even when we turned it off). The bed was small and rock hard. My lower back was killing me during my stay. The bathroom sink was hovering over the toilet which was very inconvient for me boyfriend to use the bathroom. We felt SO ripped off that we tried to book a different place on our second night but everything was booked for fashion week. The TV was located in the upstairs living room (studio unit) not in the bedroom, which was inconvienent. Overall save your money and stay elsewhere. Our unit looked nothing like the pictures. It was clean but not nearly as pretty. We were travelling to several coutries during our vacation , so we were trying to save money. Needless to say we stayed up all night talking about regretting our decision.

Clean, quiet and very pleasant place to stay!

Posted Sep 18, 2012
Pros: Clean and relatively new. great internet connection. Proximity to Tube station.
Cons: Small bathroom with little space to put toiletries. Shower worked really well though!
Location: The location is great, a nice park in front and a very quiet street at night. Only a couple of minutes walk to Edgware rd tube station.
I really enjoyed my stay at Paddington Green. There was a small mix up initially with the check-in info being sent to the wrong email address but after I finally made contact with staff the service was excellent and all went very smoothly. The room was big enough (By London standards) and clean and fresh. The bathroom is small and could use a shelf to place toiletries on but otherwise no problems. The location is great, a nice park in front and a very quiet street at night. Only a couple of minutes walk to Edgware rd tube station which gives easy access to anywhere in london. Need to walk about 10 mins to Paddington to get a selection of restaurants. Very good internet was provided. Washing facilities in the building too. I would highly recommend this place.

Comfortable, clean apartment in good condition. Small but well equipped. Close to tube station and bus stops. Would use again. Make phone contact if booking last minute.

Satisfied customers

Pros: Quiet, freshly decorated and close to tube stops
Cons: The size, it's London of course! If I was to get picky then I'd add that I would also have liked a few more items in the kitchen (eg toaster).
Location: Lovely location over the road from a leafy park. Near the underground.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in a basement studio apartment. There was plenty of light and a lovely outlook towards the trees in the adjacent park. The apartments are not noisy and are a short walk from both Edgeware Rd underground stops.

Bare Basics

Posted Jul 8, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Bathroom has almost no horizontal space to put your things. I had to put everything on the floor and keep changing what was needed all the time. It also has no towel hangers besides a not-large towel dryer which doesnt have space for 2 wet towels. the bed is not very comfortable.

A good alternative to overpriced hotels

Posted Nov 26, 2011 on Hotels.com
Exactly as advertised -- a small studio apartment, very clean room, comfortable bed, new and clean bathroom, good mini-kitchen, fast wi-fi. The building is well maintained and secure. Very close to Tube, buses, and Paddington Station. I stayed there for a week and enjoyed it much more than my previous stay in a small, old, tired, and overpriced hotel. If staying for much longer it would probably start to feel cramped, and for two people the "small double studio apartment" would be very small indeed. But for one person for a one-week business trip it was fine. The immediate surroundings not so interesting, but you can always hop on a bus or the Tube to get into the centre of London.
