Excellent boutique hotel in convenient locationPosted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: Lots of room for four people. Good price for London. Great location.
Cons: Bathroom was small, but very clean and modern
Location: Very convenient location, a few blocks from Paddington Station and two Tube stops. Easy walk to many restaurants, to Oxford Street and Hyde Park
Our family loved this hotel! My wife, two teenagers, and I stayed in a room with a large loft that included a king bed upstairs and a very comfortable standard size pullout sofa downstairs. The unit was very nicely renovated with all modern conveniences, including a two flat screen TVs and a small kitchenette with sink, mini-frig, and microwave. It had a great view from a huge window facing the front of the hotel. The staff was very efficient and courteous. Very helpful, kind staff!

First trip to LondonPosted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Room was perfect and great location
Cons: Towels. They are a bit rough.
Location: Couple blocks from the train/tube station. Restaurants and grocery stores all within walking distance. Nice neighborhood.
This hotel was great. My daughter and I had a Double Club room. Plenty of space for the two of us and full shower. Location is close to Train and Tube station. And a short walk to Hyde Park. I would definitely stay there again. Especially given the reasonable price.

Nice hotel near Paddington Station/Hyde ParkPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Its proximity to Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate makes it great for people who care to spend more time exploring the city than staying in.
Location: Take the tube downtown, hang out in Hyde Park
This was a nice hotel not far from Paddington Station and Hyde Park. I booked the smallest and cheapest room. It is quite small, but big enough for one person, two if you get along really (and I mean really) well. Wifi was free which was a huge plus. The bed was very comfortable and everything was well maintained and cleaned. I didn't make much use of the hotel facilities other than the room, so I can't speak to the quality of the restaurant or anything else. If you're looking for a nice and inexpensive place to shower and sleep at night, you can't go wrong here. I would recommend this hotel to a friend and would return to the hotel in the future.

Tiny double room.Posted Jul 19, 2014
We got there and were told that since we got a double room we would stay in their sister hotel. We got there and they did give us free breakfast, but the room was very, very small. Literally enough room for one bag and the bed. We had to get on the bed from the bottom and not the sides. We didn't stay in the room much, so we didn't complain. The only good thing was the staff, very nice and courteous. It is also very close to Paddington station.

Pros: Nice street location. Close to subway and the on/off bus.
Cons: Continental breakfast should be included. Staff's condescending attitude needs a makeover.
The rooms are very small .We stayed 3 days and did not get breakfast as we had not purchased the room through their office. We could buy breakfast for 10 pounds ($20) /day if we wanted. They were condescending about the breakfast issue and were unwilling to budge or compromise. The staff was not very accommodating as we never received things we asked for (an extra glass for the bathroom).

Good location but that's all this hotel offersPosted Jul 16, 2014
The hotel looks nothing like the pictures on the website. My room was small (even though it was a room for 4). There was 1 very tiny closet that barely held my husband's suit jackets. No drawers or shelves to put clothes on so we lives out of our suitcases. The bathroom set-up was also a bit unconventional as you could not sit on the toilet bowl....well you could but you had to sit diagonally. The bar was a ghost town with not even a bar tender. We waited a half an hour for the bellman to serve us a drink. In our first night the front desk clerk offered to call us a cab and when he was told it would take over a half hour for one he used an app and we had a cab within 2 minutes. The next night a different front desk clerk called and wa told that there were no cars available. We asked if he could do the same and use the app. His response was No. I don't know any apps....you can just walk around outside and try to find one. This is not a 4 star hotel as advertised.

Great LocationPosted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: The beds!
Cons: A few upgrades would be good. Better breakfast option.
Location: On metro routes and easy to get around to all tourist attractions.
The room was small for a family but clean, comfortable and very quiet. We really enjoyed the safety of the location and had a great stay.

Strongly recommendedPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The location of the hotel was a big plus - 2 minute walk to Paddington Station and the buses.
Cons: A fridge or a microwave would be nice.
Location: Afternoon tea in the Hilton at Paddington Station. Marks and Spencer Simply Foods - sandwiches and salads Hyde Park Kensington Palace
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in London. Although the room was quite small by North American standards, since we spent our days out seeing the sights, it was not a big issue.

Very disappointed with non accomodating attitude.Posted Jul 13, 2014
Cons: Total management attitude toward customers, honoring reservation details, and trying to be helpful.
Location: 10 minute walk to Paddington station, a few resturants.
As 8 adults travelling together, we had booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each room, for 5 nights in London, 1 night out of London, and then 3 more nights in London at the London Park Grand. Rooms very small, bathrooms were tiny, no hooks to hang clothes in bathroom, very little counter space for toilet articles. NO REFRIGERATOR in cabinent. Desk manager stated not all rooms get a refrigerator. No ice bucket, had to go to bar to get glass of ice. Hair dryer did not work, desk answer was that they had no spares. After 2 days, we finally got a refrig, and they said they had an ice bucket we could use. Refrigerator was in a non vented cabinent, so surrounding air too hot for effective cooling. I asked if they could confirm our pickup van service, and they said they could not, because it was not the company they used. We asked if they would store our large bags for one night while we took our day away from London. They refused, but said we could take bags to Paddington station and store in large lockers that would accomodate 2-3 bags each. This was a lie. Paddington has not had lockers for over 10 years. They do have a storage company that charged 15£per bag, so we paid about $230 US dollars to store 8 bags for one night. This is not a hotel the typical American will enjoy.
