Pleasant stay

For this part of London the Park Grand was a pleasant surprise. The lobby is small and relatively uninviting but the room, whilst also small by normal standards was very good compared to the typically tiny rooms on general offer. It is in a quiet side street between Cromwell Road and Earls Court Road so well situated for west London. The gym is pretty well equipped and in good shape. Staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a bit bland compared to some, but better value if you are not a big early eater. Nothing outstanding about this hotel; but nothing wrong either - so overall a good, safe option.

Good Location, Great Staff

Posted Dec 31, 2014
Hotel is great, quaint, with a great location close to a metro stop (St. Sulpice). Staff is super helpful and very bilingual which is a life saver. Area is safe and close to a ton of great cafes and restaurants. Maybe a mile from the Eiffel Tower. Hotel staff is superb and very helpful, everyone at the front desk has been excellent. Room is a little small, but very doable and the hotel is small but we'll put together. Room temperature and cleanliness are great, shower and bathroom are great as well. I'll be staying here again.

One of the best hotel rooms we have used in London this year. Very close to the venue we were attending.

Very surprised by the quality of Hotel - would stay again. A colleague paid more for a lesser hotel in Kensington - So was very relieved. Service could be a little warmed.

Veldig bra hotel sentralt I Earls Court. Det er vårt favoritt område I London og veldig koselig, sjarmerende og hyggelig område. Hotellbetjeningen var veldig hjelpsomme og ordnet alt for oss. Veldig sentralt til Earls Court tube.

Ok, but...

I got better service from the porter than from reception. First room I had was on the ground floor and poor windows. They were metal , ill fitting and let in a lot of noise in addition to being quite a walk up stairs, down stairs and through a laberinth of corridors to get there. With the help of the porter I was moved to a different and much better room. In addition they tried to charge my card a full 24 hours prior to my arrival and then tried to tell me this was normal. I opted to pay on arrival and expected to be either charged or a pre authorisation to be done then. NOT 24 hours before. I stay in hotels 40% of my working time and I have never this before. This left a sour taste in my mouth and I wont stay with this hotel chain again.
