Fantastic location and very nice hotel and service

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: The location first and the service...both were exceptional.
Cons: The rooms (superior room) was a good size including a very comfortable king size bed. However, the seating chairs were not comfortable at all.
Location: See above
This hotel is very well located...two minutes walk to the Victoria underground station from where all the main attractions are Very easily accessible and 15 minutes walk to Buckingham Palace and 15 minutes walk to Victoria Coach Station where you can get from and to Heathrow airport with National Express Company for a very reasonable price. Also this hotel is situated next door to an area where numerous affordable cafes and restaurants are very easily accessible..

An excellent base for a visit to London.

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Friendly competant staff and location.
Location: Victoria Station was approx 3 minutes walk away, this has plenty of shops and cafe's to use there is also a few restaurants in the vicinity.
I was really impressed with the staff at the hotel. Before hand i e-mailed in to arrange a fold up bed to be added to my room, within 30 minutes they had e-mailed back to confirm this was Ok. On arrival the staff were just as friendly and competant and i was greeted in a nice friendly manner. We also had noisy neighbours on the first night and after reporting it to reception it was dealt with by customer relations and the noise stopped pretty quickly. The room (executive) was clean and comfortable and had everything you would expect (and even free internet). Location wise it was about 3 minutes walk from Victoria Station so great for various forms of transport to a variety of places. There were also a variety of shops and restaurants within the close vicinity.

Great hotel handy for Victoria Station

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: The service
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: Very handy location for the tube.
The hotel is clean, modern and served by a friendly and helpful staff. I did not eat in the hotel (dinner date elsewhere) but I did use the bar where service was immediate and polite. I had one issue with the temperature in my room (too hot) but they attended to it whilst I was out at dinner and air con and temperature were perfect on my return. Would use this hotel again.

Noisy and overpriced

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: The location.
Cons: Sound proofing, climate control.
Location: Close to sight seeing locations and theatres, rail and tube stations.
Checked in for one night, room only. My room, on 7th floor, had a connecting door to the next room, through which I could plainly hear the television. I phoned at 0400hrs to complain and the television was turned off. I could also hear traffic and construction noise, even at that height. Checked in 1900hrs and checked out 12 hours later. On check out was asked to confirm that one minibar item had been consumed. Not so, and how could the clerk know that, even if it were true, as it was not physically possible for anyone to visit my room between me announcing I was checking out and the clerk asking the question. Room was alternately too hot then too cold. Breakfast was a scandalous price. Very disappointed.

Excellent hotel in centre of everything

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Everything - but the bar area is great for a drink and a chat, or just to sit and read a paper or book. Good that they provide magazines in the area
Cons: Nothing, it works very well.
It was a bit of a challenge to find my way to the hotel, given the congestion of buiilding and traffic works around Victoria, which rather blocked the way to the hotel, and street names too. However, once I got there, I was delighted with the check-in service and the hotel was great. Quiet, clean, lovely comfortable bed and generally a great place for a weekend trip, or longer. Lots of really nice, reasonably priced restaurants very close by, so you don't have to eat in the same place all the time. I would definitely come back to this hotel again, the next time I am in London. Very convenient for getting here from Gatwick straight to Victoria, and then 5 minutes from the station (once you find the way ....)

Central located hotel

Posted Apr 9, 2014
The hotel was perfect for our 1 night stay. It's centrally located but the room was very quiet. The room was a good size and very comfortable for myself and my 2 daughters. I'm very fussy about hotel pillows but they were the best I've experienced. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. Overall an excellent stay.

Convenient to Victoria; very pleasant

Posted Mar 25, 2014
Pros: Clean, "modern" (without being stark, or impersonal), good amenities in room
Cons: The Expedia confirmation message... which, sadly, I failed to print... was a little confusing on what internet access was incl free. Take care.
Location: Near Victoria train/ tube/ bus station... but away from the traffic noise, but an easy walk... 300 m. (On foot, use Wilton Rd.) Go to Billy Elliot
I "need" two things... convenient to Victoria, for going to Billy Elliot... who wants a long journey home after a show?.. and a good price. The Park Plaza is "more" hotel than I "need"... but I was lucky enough to find a room there for only a little more than I'd pay for something considerably inferior, and I treated myself.

Love this place!!

Posted Mar 20, 2014
This place is fantastic and so near both the train and the tube!! There are about 5 or 6 yummy little places around the hotel, 3 of which are directly across the street from the hotel entrance. The room is super clean and comfy. There is free bottle water on the desk and cheap drinks in the fridge. There are built in foriegn outlets if you forget your converter. In our room we had two twins and a couch. We also had a shower and tub. We loved everything about the hotel.
