Very nice hotel in Victoria

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Price was key, however the hotel exceeded our expectations with the bedroom, cleanliness and layout. Quality of the English breakfast was very good.
Cons: Complimentary drinks and parking would have completed the experience.
Location was perfect for London at a reasonable price. Access to the hotel and then to the city itself was convenient. Plenty to do near the hotel itself with plenty of eateries nearby as well as as a Sainsbury's just yards away.

Expected More!

Posted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: Large rooms and parking
Cons: A bit more care taken on maintenance, bathroom tiles repaired and not very well.
Location: Great location, right near Victoria Stations.
Stayed in October for two nights, booked this hotel purely due to parking. Drove around a couple of times before being told there is actually a lift down to the carpark, being from the country we found this a bit Men in Black, but worked very well! Room very comfortable, our windows did not open as we had a locked patio door type arrangement, not very noise proof, had to sleep with earplugs, but bed extremely comfortable. Staff all very nice and helpfull. Did have £50 added to our bill when paying for parking when we arrived, had to ask what that was for, and informed it was for mini bar etc! I had this removed, think I should have been asked first. Had a 30 minute wait at the bar for a couple of drinks, but bar staff apologised and said they were very busy when we called them over, I think they had forgotten us as there were only a dozen people in the bar! That's just our luck!

City Break

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: The cleanliness, the helpful and cheerful staff and its location near a station.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Close to Victoria Underground Station for easy access to all parts of London. Close to Buckingham Palace.
Excellent hotel near good communications (Victoria Underground Station) for travelling around London. We did not eat in the hotel and so cannot comment on meals. The bedroom was excellent. It was very clean and modern. We had a disabled access room although we are not actually disabled. The alarm in the bathroom proved to be very sensitive on 2 occasions! The reaction on both occasions was very swift and impressive!

Pros: Everything
Location: Central and well located to the tube
Had to be at the palace for 3pm so my daughter could get her DoE award, The staff allowed us to check in early and even upgraded us for free. When we got back in that evening there was complimentary macaroons and biscuits with a lovely card congratulating her.

Upscale hotel near Victoria Station.

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: The size of the room, the nearness to Victoria Station and the staff.
Location: Near Victoria Station. Two theaters close by. A nice restaurant across the street - Le Pain Quotidien. Nice neighborhood feel.
This hotel was recommended to us by our son. He said it was very much like an American hotel in terms of size of the room. Since we were staying seven nights, we wanted a comfortable room. It was also near Victoria Station which was a plus for us. The hostess in the breakfast room was wonderful, and the food was wonderful too. We really enjoyed our stay there.
