Excellent location for very good 4* hotelPosted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: Room temperature was difficult to get right. Too hot and uncomfortable at night. Shower door was not a good barrier and so the bathroom floor got wet.
Location: Victoria station 3 mins walk- excellent public transport links throughout London/to Gatwick Airport. Good cafes and restaurants & 2 theatres close by.
Cool, calm, modern hotel. Quirky/arty decor in foyer. Welcoming, friendly, efficient reception staff. Knowledgeable and helpful concierge. Very clean spacious bedroom and bathroom. Lovely toiletries. Relaxing stay.

Lovely stay.Posted Mar 2, 2014
Pros: Big rooms, good food,
Cons: Grips on bath to be extended to the bottom of the bath .
We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights it was a very nice hotel must admit it was just used for a base as we were spending a day on the orient express and as we had a very early start and a late finish we needed a hotel near by to Victoria station . The staff were very helpful and the food in the bar was lovely ( best chips ever) our room was large and very clean bathroom was a little on the small side the only negative side was where the bath is in room 137 as you got into the shower the grip on the bath to stop you slipping was to small it needed to be extended up the bath I nearly slipped twice getting out . Good breakfast . Check out was painless Would stay here again .

Perfect location for Victoria Station/UndergroundPosted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: Everything! We have stayed in the embankment hotel also recently and they are both excellent.
Cons: The cost is a little high for us if we wanted to take both our children (as our children are 19/15) we require 2 rooms.
Location: Victoria Station/underground.
Hotel in perfect location for Wicked and Billy Elliott theatres, also a Wetherspoons only a couple of steps away.

Pleasant Hotel close to Victoria StationPosted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: Everything easy to find and quick access to wifi.
Cons: Can't think of anything at the moment.
Location: Very close to Victoria Railway station and also only a 5 minute walk to the Victoria Palace Theatre to see Billy Elliot.
Quick and efficient registration. Really tasty meal in the Italian restaurant. Quick, pleasant goodbye in the morning.

Pros: The room size and location
Cons: The air conditioning
Location: Victoria - very central
Good central location very close to Victoria Underground. Room good size with separate bath and shower. Only fault was the temperature - too warm. Had to order a fan and they didn't seem surprised by the request - the air conditioning did not pump cold air (I was told that they had switched the chillers off) and I was advised to switch it off and open the window - a problem when quite noisy outside. Fan was pretty poor as well - needed a chair to support it from falling over. Such a shame as otherwise this would have been a very positive review.

Great location - transport & sightseeingPosted Jan 20, 2014
Pros: Staff were polite and responsive. Great location.
Cons: Nothing, we really enjoyed our stay. Very happy and would definitely stay here again.
Location: Buckingham Palace an easy walk. From there it was lovely to stroll through St James Park on our way to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
From Heathrow terminal 5 took the tube and transferred to District line to Victoria Station, then easy walk to hotel (200 metres). We booked a superior room which was clean and roomy. Hotel also close to cafes. Staff very helpful and friendly. So close to Buckingham Palace. Then a lovely walk through St James Park to Big Ben and Houses of Parliament. Easy access to underground tube and all other sightseeing attractions. Thank you Victoria Park Plaza for making our holiday in London a wonderful experience.

Great locationPosted Jan 20, 2014
Pros: Plenty of space, clean and location
Cons: Better pillows
Location: Very close to rail, tube and buses at Victoria Station and plenty of cafes and restaurants, pubs in the street or takeaways at Victoria Station.
We were pleasantly surprised with how big the room was. We could spread out and not feel like we were constantly climbing over furniture or our suitcases. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. We made use of the gym facilities which were fine and the hotel provided also good free wifi. Great to come back after a full day out to a nice clean room and a comfy bed to watch a little telly or surf the net to plan your next day.
