Park Plaza Westminster Bridge - great hotelPosted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Fabulous location with great view of Big Ben! Exceptionally clean hotel, very friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing to improve - this met all my expectations.
Location: London Eye is literally 2 minutes walk away as is the London Dungeon and Sea Life Centre. The pier is 5 minutes away where you can cruise the Thames!
From start to finish a great experience. The hotel is well situated with lots of attractions nearby within walking distance. Staff in the hotel were very polite and couldn't do enough to help. On check in was offered a choice of 2 rooms. Ended up with a superior king room which was incredible -so spacious it was unbelievable. Also offered a deal on the breakfast which I hadn't pre-booked. The deal was very good and allowed room service for this at no extra charge - great! Food in the hotel was lovely and very generous portions. After checking out I was allowed to leave my luggage with the concierge at no extra cost. This meant I could take in some last minute sight seeing - great service.

Great Location. Not So Great View.Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Very clean / polished look.
Cons: The WiFi internet is the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel.
Location: All the big tourist attractions are walking distance from this hotel. Waterloo / Westminster stations. Big Ben. London Eye. etc.
This hotel had a great deal going on and according to the pictures the view was the best in town. When we arrived we were placed in a wheelchair accessible room that was built with that purpose in mind. The bed as nearly on the floor. Everything was around waist level. The worst part was that there was NO VIEW. The "window" was a small piece of glass that you had to climb on a desk to see. We were then offered an upgrade to a studio room for £30 a night which we took. This view was much better but we were told that the Big Ben view rooms were way more expensive. No big deal since we didnt spend much time in the room. The breakfast at this hotel is BEYOND reasonably expensive. It is a low quality buffet that isnt well stocked. Skip it! there are plenty of options nearby. The hotel is conveniently located near Westminster and Waterloo stations and there are two bus stops even closer. If you need a Taxi there is always one available downstairs. Lastly, do not come to this hotel expecting to do anything on the internet. The free Wi-Fi at this property was the WORST I have ever experienced at a hotel. I purchased a Three SIM Card to use on my phone and used the HOTSPOT for everything.

Strøkent hotell med perfekt beliggenhetPosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Renhold. Sentralt men stille. God aircondition. Kjempegode senger og puter.
Location: Hotellet liger midt i tykkestee hjerte av London. Big Ben rett utenfor, på andre siden av elven. Gåavstand til det meste av sentrum. Best i London.
Vennlig betjening, skikkelig renhold av rommet hver dag.

Location: Only a few steps away from the Thames, Big Ben and Westminster and easy access to the tube.
The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge offers a great combination of an unbeatable location close to all the central London attractions, an efficient and friendly staff and all the conveniences one expects at this level of hotel.

London tripPosted Apr 18, 2015
Pros: The staff was very friendly, excellent location. They had a nice workout area, pool, sauna and steam room.
Cons: The mini fridge could be bigger. It is more a micro fridge. Would've liked to been able to put soda, water and snacks in it. It is only about 6" wide.
Location: Walking distance of many sights. Big Ben, Parliament, London Eye, about 20 mins to Buckingham Palace. Not a lot of stores except touristy shops.
It was our first time to London and we were not sure where to stay. After much looking we decided to stay at Park Plaza. I think we made an excellent choice. We were in the bar one night and our bartender (Ivo) was excellent. He kept us entertained and was very friendly. If you are there make sure he is your server. I hope that we will have an opportunity to visit London again and we would very much consider staying here.
