Airport Overnight stay

Posted Jul 7, 2014
It was as good if not better than some more expensive hotels we have stayed in. The buffet breakfast was also excellent with plenty of choice & good value for money

We were told Expedia cancelled our room ?

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Cons: Better training to night staff in how to deal with so called booking problems without involving guests
We turned up to check in at midnight (having advised of out late arrival) and we were told that our room had been cancelled by Expedia! We had to telephone our New Zealand travel agent who had to talk to the hotel staff member involved. That staff member should have dealt with the "problem" behind the scenes and given us our room, after all it was midnight. Our poor agent then had to give over her credit card by email before the staff member would do anything to assist us. That hotel staff person should have simply rung Expedia instead of upsetting us and our agent. This was a case of extremely poor customer relations and given we checked out at 4am we feel justified in asking for a refund on the cost of the room as we should not have been treated like we were.

Good value airport hotel.

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Basic affordability and part of the Hoppa route to and from the different terminals.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I ate dinner and breakfast twice at the Thyme restaurant and enjoyed the meals. Abdul puts on a good cooked breakfast. The multiple-choice coffee machine has a line-up at busy times. I'd consider having a staff member circulate with a coffee pot for breakfast customers who want a quick java jolt.

Well located near airport

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: ATM access
Location: Location to airport good, very limited things to nearby
Good accomodation well located near airport. There needs to better access to money ATMs for travellers and at a reasonable cost. $4 to use machine is not good PR

Minimal hotel with lots of add ons.

Amazed by lack of bar fridge. No soap for the shower. No shampoo. Huge cost for car parking and shuttle bus. Had to pay for wifi. Only plus was reasonable food at reasonable prices.

Good hotel close to Heathrow

Good hotel with a very good restaurant on site along with a Costa Coffee. Nice large towels in the bathroom. About the only thing missing from the hotel room were tissues and as usual lighting could be better.
