Good business hotel for Paddington area

Posted May 7, 2014
Pros: Great new room.
Cons: No lift to top floor, shower did leave pool of water in wetroom
Location: Near public transport and Paddington Station.
Business travel so stayed here as easy connections to office on Oxford St. via bus and near to tube/Paddington Station. The hotel is having a refurb at the moment and I was lucky enough to get a new single room on the top floor. Excellent facilities including flatscreen teevee, comfortable (single) bed and best of all, a walk in shower. They perhaps need to check that the water does all drain down the plughole though as there was a bit of standing water after I'd finished showering. Overall though, great would stay again.

Great for walks in Hyde Park

Posted May 1, 2014
Pros: Close to paddington station
Cons: Breakfast selection could use a few more options.
Location: Near the central line
Hotel was under construction for a remodel which is needed. Breakfast was very light with no meats/eggs/fruit. Rooms had no air conditioning and windows that would not stay open.

Clean and comfortable room.

Pros: Very close to Paddington tube/ train station.
Cons: None
Location: Very close to Paddington tube/ train station.
Got a good deal through Expedia. Hotel not impressive from outside due to ongoing refurbishment work, but the room was tidy and comfortable. Stayed on business work.

Hotel currently being renovated

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Great and modern room, but on 5th floor, with a scary lift, through 5 corridors and up another set of stairs. Room was VERY small, but did the trick. Probably better for only 1 person, and not 2.

Very small rooms. Difficult to move.

Pros: Nothing.
Location: Location wise, not bad.
Not worth the price. Very small rooms and wash rooms are extremely small. Corridor is narrow and it is not worth staying here.

sorry but didn't like it at all, have stayed in a number of budget hotels before but a couple of things that really put me off: 1. no toilet in the room, just a shower and sink.....would be nice of hotels.com to indicate this is the case in their description!!!! 2. handing in keys to reception when going out.....can become a little tiresome when all you are doing is popping out for a few minutes. besides that it was your run of the mill budget hotel

Great Location

The location of the Prince William was ideal being close to Underground and Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. The staff did their best considering there were renovations continuing during our stay. Breakfast was adequate. The room was clean and cosy. It is a budget Hotel and you cannot expect the Hilton

worse than a motel room

Posted Nov 19, 2013
Pros: nothing
Cons: the whole building needs to be tear down and demolished.
Location: location is a walking distance to train station.
room was unacceptable to all hotel standards. worse than a motel room. No amenities at all. shower is too small it's hard to get in and your elbows are touching the 4 sides of the shower. shower is for toddler only. whole room needs to be painted and no heater in the winter time. Bed is metal frame and is squeaking every time you move. Bed had no boxspring and very uncomfortable. Service is bad and building smells.

Cheap but not vey cheerful.Curtains were hanging off rail and mattress was too lumpy to sleep on.Both swiftly rectified but this spoilt first impression. On serious need of repainting...especially dismal breakfast room.Nice staff.Nice and warm. Plenty of hot water and clean towels
