Hotel close to Oxford StreetPosted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: Central position
Cons: Management. Adjacent Cross Rail building sight didn't help
Food was poor, service in the restaurant was very very slow. Breakfast standard was poor. Cooked food was left for a long time and therefore cold. These are simple things to get right with better management. Staff were friendly and helpful. It did not deserve 4star rating

Nice hotel very close to all the major shoppingPosted Nov 1, 2013
Cons: Television channels
Location: Lots of shopping. Very close within minutes of Oxford circus
This was a nice hotel. It was in a very good location, very close to Oxford circus and major shopping areas in London. My only issue was they were doing construction at a department store next door and they worked 24 hours a day. Often it was very loud late at night and early in the morning. The Store is opening soon so I would imagine this will not be a problem for very much longer. Not that you go to London to watch the TV but there were basically no free channels to watch other than a few news stations. The hotel staff was excellent very nice and friendly. The restaurant was nice and offered a variety of meals. My recommendation would be to offer additional snack type food for late evening.

Positive thing about this hotel is its locationPosted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: Location and excellent customer service
Rooms are not spacious. Very poky bathroom, wash basin is too small and very close to the tap.

ConvenientPosted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: clean and convenient
Location: right off the central shopping area of Oxford street
The hotel is just off the main shopping street in London (Oxford street) and the underground (Tube) is also just cross street from the hotel.

Hotel with good locationPosted Sep 13, 2013
Pros: small but very friendly, good location.
Location: practically right on Oxford Street, it is heaven for shoppers. With two key tube stations close means accessibility to other parts of London is excel
This hotel wins over similar hotels mainly because of its location. It is an excellent hotel for those who love shopping. Situated in the central section of Oxford Street you could not hardly ask for more. Being close to the tube stations of "Bond Street" and "Oxford Circus" access to other parts of London is a breeze. The room we stayed, though not large , was well appointed with good facilities. We would recommend this hotels to all our friends who plan to visit London

Construction in the area - Sept 2013 & Teeny roomPosted Sep 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff was wonderful, room was clean but it was tiny (single bed), barely any room for 1 large suitcase. Here's the warning: there is a dept store across the street that is under full renovation. They work even on Saturdays so be warned you will hear construction all night long. Also Oxford Street is chaos and filled with shoppers so if you want quaint quiet London this is not the neighborhood for you but if you love shopping and walking to theatre it just might be.

Small, clean roomPosted Sep 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location is great, if you want to be near the masses on Oxford Street. The hotel is clean, though there really isn't a lobby area, just a check in desk and then breakfast room/bar. I had a single room, which was tiny but well appointed, including a complimentary bottle of water and stocked pay-for mini-bar. When the rate went up from $250 to $350/night, I moved to another hotel.

Shame to only be able to give a 3 overall.Posted Aug 8, 2013
Pros: location to shops
Cons: rail link next door, dusty and noisy as its under construction!!
Location: right in the midst of the shops....ideal if you have come for serious shopping as I had!
The hotel had a double bed for myself and my Mother (in her late 70's) despite my making a request. I booked a delux room and the first one was really squashed and didnt look delux to me and I travel a great deal. We were down graded to a 'normal twin' room with breakfast thrown in for the mix up. The 'normal twin was disappointing, we were woken at 6.30 am by a dreadful noise...opened the curtains (it had been dark on our arrival) and were eye to eye with a crane driver. I dont remember seeing anywhere on the info that the hotel is right next to the new cross link tube/ rail fast Heathrow link! I suspect this to be going on for years and the noise will continue, eventually getting worse once the terminal is open. All that said the next day we were put into the delux twin bedded room I had paid for. It was much better, more room, not over looking the tube works. The best bit about this hotel is its bang in the middle of Oxford street and ideal for shopping from!
