Good hotel in the heart of London

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: The Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire Hotel had clean rooms, friendly staff and a great location.
The Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire Hotel is located in the busy Leceister Square area of London. Our hotel room window looked out onto the square where we saw a movie premier, bands and street performers. This hotel is close to all kinds of restaurants, shops and a tube (underground) station. You are also within walking distance of many of London's famous attactions and the theatre district. This is a great place to stay if you want to be in the middle of all the London action. Having said that - being in the middle of the action does come with crowds and noise. If you just can't stand the idea of that, you might want to stay a little further afield. My husband, son and I stayed here our first three nights in London and had a very good experience.

Pros:

Supert for familie som skulle på teater

Posted May 28, 2015
Pros: Rommet, badet, frokost, vennlig og hjelpsomt personale.
Valuta for pengene.

Stay here for the location

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Sound-proofing.
Location: West End theatre, art museums, Soho, Picadilly Circus
The room was pretty plain, and on the small side. It had a view of a wall. And it was noisy mostly due to the proximity to Leicester Square. They could stand to install windows that were more sound-proof. The staff was a bit on the cool side, but correct. Overall, not much to recommend this place, especially in view of the lofty price they charged. BUT.... the location is GREAT. Near pretty much everything you want to be near. And so, in the end, worth the price, and worth putting up with the lack of creature comforts.

Do not expect to sleep.

Posted Apr 1, 2015 on Hotels
Construction work on site next door continued all night making for badly interrupted (almost zero) sleep. Front desk staff made an effort to reduce the impact of 2.00 & 3.00 am deliveries! Why no advance warning? Breakfast more 3 star than 5, an expensive disappointment.

Great Location

This is a wonderfully located hotel right in the heart of the Leicester Square; the staff are great . On the downside it can be a little noisy and the rooms are a bit small.

maaliskuu 2015

Posted Mar 19, 2015 on Hotels
P S riktigt bra frukost.

Litt smal og hard seng. Det luktet gammelt på rommet. Svært god beliggenhet.
