London HotelPosted Sep 22, 2014
Solid, 4-star hotel, 5-10 minutes walk from the Victoria and Albert Museum (and 2-3 minute walk to Gloucester Road underground station). Efficient helpful staff, if a bit formal. Good breakfast. Hotel is a bit of a maze, being made out of 10 or so old houses connected together. Room decent if small. Only issue was the desk, which was too low to sit at comfortably for work with the desk chair.

Beautiful & Historic HotelPosted Sep 16, 2014
Outstanding staff at this hotel; friendly & helpful. From the moment you approach the hotel the staff is there to help you up the steps & get you checked in. The Business Center is convenient & I was able to take care of my computer tasks quickly. Having had back surgery this year, my bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked. But would probably be fine for someone without that issue. Enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

hotel with good location!Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: It has the best location...very close to Gloucester tube which has both the circle and district line.
Hallway and lift can be really small but rooms are appropriate in size and well maintained.

DisappointingPosted Aug 26, 2014
The room was small and compact. Unfortunately, I could hear the TV playing in the room above mine as well as the conversation that the couple were having. It was very annoying.

Family birthday celebration weekendPosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Have stayed at this hotel many times and always found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly and the rooms very comfortable and quiet.
Cons: Disappointed wasn't aware before we arrived that the bar and restaurant was being refurbished and not in use.
Location: Very conveniently located just across the road from Gloucester Road Tube Station. Plenty of eating places and Tesco Extra and Waitrose nearby.
Had two rooms for our family, both very comfortable and quiet.
