Great location

Posted Nov 1, 2014
Comfy beds, helpful staff, great breakfast, but considering there are stairs to be taken due to the hotel layout, someone should be ready to help with luggage. No one did! And when we asked them to send someone upon checkout we ended up doing it ourselves.

Great location, small rooms

Posted Nov 1, 2014
The hotel is at a great location less than 2 minute walk from a tube station. The hotel is very clean and nice! The staff is super nice and helpful! The room is very small though. The bed is not as comfortable as I would like, but it is not too bad. Overall it is still a great value. Will definitely come back!

Nice hotel in the Kensington area

Posted Oct 29, 2014
We traveled to London to visit our son, so we needed a room for three people which is not easy to find in London. The executive suite and a rollaway bed were perfect. Plenty of room. The staff at the hotel were very helpful with suggestions for sites to visit and restaurants.

Really good. more space in the room and view would have been lovely. Love the welcome from the staff.

Terrible Hotel in Kensington

Posted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: Nothing bar the location.
Cons: Absolutely everything but to start proper staff training wouldn't go astray.
I booked this hotel for a girls weekend in London for 6 girls. It was stated that it was 4 star and so I paid a 4 star price . The Hotel bar and restaurant were closed which was not information availiable on website and expedia booking. The 1st rooms we were shown were like broom cupboards. Theses were changed for very small twin rooms, fortunately none of us are large people. The staff were chaotic, the foyer was full of luggage most of the time. The corridors are like a rabbit warren which appropriately they had a large bronze of one on the mantlepiece. I asked for a glass of wine in the foyer and the staff member at the desk handed me the phone to speak to kitchen staff. This hotel leaves a lot to be desired.

Nice hotel and area

No on site facilities, bar and restaurant closed and no discounts offered. Beware of weekend Tube closure as meant a long walk to station. Not ideal. Good for local services though.

Room comfortable & clean.

Posted Sep 28, 2014
Room was comfortable & clean It's well located & I liked it. Felt safe & staff helpful. Minuses were the breakfast was awful- runny scrambled egg, no toast, lack of variety.at £17.75, a rip off. Also it's a real rabbit warren- hard to find room- so many doors, narrow corridors etc

London Hotel

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Solid, 4-star hotel, 5-10 minutes walk from the Victoria and Albert Museum (and 2-3 minute walk to Gloucester Road underground station). Efficient helpful staff, if a bit formal. Good breakfast. Hotel is a bit of a maze, being made out of 10 or so old houses connected together. Room decent if small. Only issue was the desk, which was too low to sit at comfortably for work with the desk chair.

Lovely reception from desk staff, checked us in despite being really early, pleasant decor, lovely room, only downside was we had been allocated a twin room(happily married couple)

Beautiful & Historic Hotel

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Outstanding staff at this hotel; friendly & helpful. From the moment you approach the hotel the staff is there to help you up the steps & get you checked in. The Business Center is convenient & I was able to take care of my computer tasks quickly. Having had back surgery this year, my bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked. But would probably be fine for someone without that issue. Enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
