The staff were great and very helpful and the hotel as a whole was very nice but our actual room was a bit of a letdown. I booked an accessible room and the first issue was that the AC wasn’t working. It took a couple of calls but after an hour and a bit, someone came up and confirmed that it was blowing out at 21°C despite being on the coldest setting. Ultimately, the only solution was bringing a fan up to our room which helped with some of the heat but not all of it. The staff member who brought the fan up even commented that our room felt humid.
The other issue was the bathroom; because it was an accessible room, it was a wet room-style (which made it so much easier with my mobility issues!). Unfortunately, the entire bathroom flooded from my 10-minute shower and none of the water drained. My husband also had to shower so we left it for half an hour, thinking it was just taking it’s time to drain but when he opened the door, it was still full of cold standing water. Luckily this was the morning we checked out because we weren’t able to get back into the bathroom because the water never significantly drained and we didn’t have suitable shoes. Upon checkout, my husband said that he alerted the front desk because I was mortified to leave the bathroom in that state but there was nothing we could do.
Overall, the hotel is lovely and the location is fantastic! The breakfast buffet was amazing as well; I couldn’t believe all of the dairy-free options.
