Hotel is a bit remote

Posted Oct 18, 2014
The overall condition of the hotel is above average. The hotel does shows signs of wear, but it is clean. The location of the hotel is a bit remote from the city center. There are DLR line metro stations within a 10-15 minute walk between the hotel and the stations. Unfortunately, there really is minimal decent restaurants and no convenient stores within a walking distance unless you drive. So unless you have a car, I will recommend choosing another hotel less remote.

Nice waterfront hotel!

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Breakfast!
Cons: Smile in the face of the receptionists!
It is nice hotel and very closed to central London at least for me. It takes only 30 minutes to go to the central London and much cheaper than the hotel in central London. Receptionist was very rude but people in the restaurant were really good.

Five nights in a nice hotel.

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Good room. Double bed and convertible settee. Large shower. Good value for money, pleasant staff
Cons: A room safe would have been nice but at the room rate I got through Expedia I was more than happy with my stay.
Location: Area has many open spaces, no shops I could see. Buildings are other hotels, apartments and Excel Exhibition centre. 02 has many eating places.
I booked basic room, only, and that at a special offer rate. At the Ramada Hotel many of the more expensive rooms have views over the developed docklands area. This room, 309, looked onto adjacent buildings. The room was excellent, as good as any four star I have stayed. The basic rooms do not have a room safe. Reception will lock up any valuables if you wish. The hotel is on the Dockyard Light Railway. (DLR) at Prince Regent Station. Two changes to Leicester Square less than thirty minutes away. (Prince Regent, to Canning Town (which is on underground,) change to Jubilee line. At Waterloo take Northern Line to Leicester Square.) The 02 Dome is very close to the Ramada. The most enjoyable way of reaching there is via two DLR stops to Royal Victoria and then take the cable car over the water for spectacular views of the 02 building, the Thames and surrounding areas. The 02 underground station is North Greenwich (on Jubilee Line) where, if you wish, you can continue into the West End

Convenient to Exhibition Ctr

Great place to stay if you've got something going on at the Exhibition Ctr. DLR is very close and convenient to get into central London. Staff was great.

Clean

Room was clean, comfy bed, huge TV, food was great, staff friendly. Just one criticism is that there are no plug sockets near the bed to charge your phone!

Nice hotel, close to amenities we wanted to see

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Please read above for comments made.
Location: It is near the O2, which is handy for a show. Also very closed to Excel exhibition centre. Not far from the cable cars that go over the O2.
We only stayed one night, so we did not have enough time to explore all the facilities the hotel offered, but we were delighted with the room and the view. Everything was very clean and staff was helpful and polite. We will recommend this hotel to our family and friends.
