“Will not use again nor recommend - perhaps better suited for male business travelers.”

Area recommendations

Not familiar enough with London to recommend one area. Would however recommend other hotels closer to the airport if that area is preferred. I actually stayed in Oxford for the time I was in England.

Overall the flight was ok and so was the hotel selection of Ramada, close to the Airport.

“Very expensive buffet breakfast”

I was disconcerted to find that the only thing available for breakfast was the expensive buffet with "unreal" scrambled eggs. The other food was very good, however i just wanted coffee & toast which was not available. The waitresses had a bit of attitude! I was surprised because the other staff were charming.

“A very good hotel”

The hotel was very nice to stay at. However, I would recommend purchasing a pay-as-you-go broadband modem.

“Clean modern hotel not far from airport”

This hotel is a good choice for a reasonably priced hotel not too far from the airport. It is not recommended for people traveling to visit the sites in London but it does make a decent overnight stop if you have an early flight. The room were clean and modern. Note: not all the airport terminals have a hotel bus that stops at the Ramada ours did not but a taxi did not cost much more.

“Close to airport, easy in to London”

The staff made my short visit terrific. I received great instructions on the bus/tube combo to get into London. The room while a bit small, had all the functions needed for a short stay. Great bathroom, comfy bed, tea/coffee service. Only small downside, and it's not the hotel's fault, is that I was travelling out of term. 5 and only taxi service available there. But this hotel is a fine refuge for this transitioning traveller...and superb, helpful staff.
