“A good choice”
Close to Paddington for the Heathrow Express as well as walking (Kensington Garden) and shopping. Breakfast not worth it; coffee was fine but food was dry, tough as if it had been made ages ago.

I would stay at this hotel again. Overall, the hotel is pretty standard, nothing fancy with typical London sized room. The hotel itself is clean and nice. The only drawback to this hotel is that it is terribly mis-managed. The reception personnel are confused and seem very disorganized. The restaurant is OK, but the staff there are also very bad. The location more than makes up for any of the bad elements. The price was very good so the value proposition is very strong. I will stay here again as it is literally across the street from Kensington and Hyde park and in a wonderful area. Underground is also right around the corner so its easy to hop on the tube.
“Not 4 star”
We were really unimpressed after having read that this hotel was considered 4 stars. The hallways and rooms looked very worn and dingy, you could hear everything through the walls, there were dirty towels (hung as though clean) in our room when we arrived, and the beds were really hard. If we hadn't prepaid through Expedia for booking our trip, I would have wanted to leave and actually get a 4 star experience elsewhere. The only saving grace was that it's a good location. It was also very annoying that you could only get wireless if you were sitting in the lounge area. Overall, it had the feeling of a budget, rather than 4 star, hotel.

When we arrived, the hotel couldn't "find" our reservation, so we spent more than two hours sitting in the lobby while the manager tried to make the system work...when we complained we were offered a cup of tea for our trouble. The executive level room was run down but clean and the hotel staff was less than helpful with EVERYTHING. They called us down to the desk more than once for ridiculous issues. The only redemption of this hotel was one guy named Luiz who worked reception and helped us with some things after the concierge refused to help us book transport to the airport. Overall, if you want to pay and get no service, stay here...otherwise look elsewhere!
