Not exactly worth what I paidPosted Oct 30, 2014
Let's keep it short, the only reason to choose this hotel can be its location. Close to the Tube (Holland Park), in one of the best areas of London and also close to Tesco, bars restaurant. Other than that you should avoid it. Very run down property as others have pointed out. I was in the last floor in the so called "Executive rooms", which indeed have a renovated look and private bathroom (so small that I could not believe: sitting on toilet my nose would be 1 inch from the wall, smallest sink ever seen (obvious water leakage everywhere), provided with soap only the first day out of 4 nights). Windows do not seal at all, so expect loud noise even if facing on the side of the building and in winter I bet it gets pretty cold there. Slowest elevator ever. Crappy breakfast, non-buffet style. I paid way too much for this things which is basically hostel level. Might work for budget travelers if a bit cheaper than that, say 50£/night.

Value for money hotel near central LondonPosted Oct 23, 2014
Pros: Value for money, clean and friendly.
Cons: Desk in the room, more choice at breakfast.
Location: It is on the Central Line (Zone 2) with good access to all the sights and within walking distance of Hyde Park and Notting Hill.
I was looking for a hotel near my office for when I have to work in London for a few days. The Ravna Gora fits the bill perfectly. It is a no-frills, small, family-run hotel, full of charm and character. Each of the rooms is different, so it can be a case of pot luck and it can also be quite noisy, so bring your ear-plugs! It is safe, clean and the staff are very friendly.

Location was goodPosted Oct 15, 2014
Location was pretty good, almost right across from the subway station. Breakfast was nice, actually real breakfast with egg and ham ect. Besides that, nothing really good. The room was extremely small, I mean extremely. And the staff was very rude, they seemed unhappy about their jobs.

Not whats advertised!Posted Sep 1, 2014
Cons: standard & staff
Location: Location was perfect even if the hotel was not!
This was not what I expected. I paid £120. for an Executive Quadruple Room, Ensuite, for 1 night for a family of 4. The staff were unfriendly upon arrival then gave us wrong information when asking advise on how to travel around. Our room was certainly not superior. The ensuite could only just fit 1 person in with a toilet behind a door that had a seat that was not fastened on ( i did complain - nothing was done), so you dare not sit down! the smallest sink ever was blocked but worst of all the smell of urine was overpowering. The traditional breakfast is Egg & Bacon swimming in fat, served by a waitress who literally does not speak. She approached our table to take our order (it is not a buffet style breakfast) and just stood without speaking or smiling! Finally i was promised we could leave our car the following day, as we were going into london, after phoning prior our stay and speaking to a man . Upon checking out I was told (by a different person) we could not leave our car. We then spent a fortune on parking!!

Good location and initial good impression...Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Friendly receptionist
Cons: Provide breakfast as agreed, keep off customers property
Location: A branch of Londons best ice cream parlour 'Gelato Mio' - their Watermelon Sorbet is a dream!!!
The first impression was not to last: the female receptionist was very friendly and could direct me to a nearby ice cream parlour I was looking for. But that's the good bit. Coming back in the evening the wi-fi did not work and I had to go to reception to ask for a reboot. That worked alright then... In the morning there was breakfast supposed to be from 8am to 9.30am. I arrived downstairs at 9.20. The clock on the walll was advanced displaying 9.25 and the chap doing the breakfast told me that I was too late. Pointing out that not even according to the clock in the room it was 9.30 yet and that I only needed 5 min for breakfast he simply replied that he'd need 5 minutes to prepare it and that therefore I was not gonna have it. I preferred not to argue as I can actually afford to buy my own breakfast. An hour later I went to pick up my motorbike in their carpark which had been forcibly moved to another location not a smart thing when there's a d-lock through the spokes of the wheel... A good price, a good location but no respect for the customer.

not bad for the pricePosted Aug 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Decent location, good tv channels... traffic a bit too loud though and no air con, which is fine, but would be nice in the hot summer days. bed was comfortable though

Very convenient locationPosted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: Very convenient location
Cons: New beds, and a shower that works

The hotel was very outdated and needs lots of work. But you get what you pay for!

We had a shared bathroom, and it didn't work great. The breakfast was good and the location of the hotel was nice. It was a bit noisy at night.
