Great service. Nice friendly receptionist. The bed wasn’t the comfiest and expected it to be a double not two singles pushed together. Very thin walls but other guests were considerate. Overall, more positives than negatives.

This was ideal for two nights. A clean, spacious room, with great internet, in a hotel located close to Paddington and Lancaster Road stations. I would definitely stay in again.

Hotel had stated would take payment at the Property but they took my money five days before the check in date. Had requested for Twin room and got a double room. On the email confirmation it said free breakfast but the hotel said there is no breakfast that they need to update the website.

Good for the price! The room wasn't exactly too clean or warm, but the daily housekeeping service was okay. Appreciated the location nearby the park as well as the Paddington station.

When I arrived, the gentleman at reception said that I needed to settle payment for my room, however I had already paid on 27/09. When he asked to see proof I showed him my receipt email and he said this wasn’t sufficient and wanted further proof meaning I needed to show him my bank statement which was not an acceptable manner of checking in to stay. He then asked for a passport for identification which I think is unnecessary and have never come across before. This led to me being very frustrated and did not appreciate his manner

We arrived late so were literally placed in a basement room. Maybe the tiniest bathroom we’d ever seen but clean and fully functional. Bed was very uncomfortable due to old saggy mattress. Could hear all foot traffic above us loud and clear. Not what I envisioned from pics and a Name like Rose Park. Location to Kensington Park however was great!

Make sure to get a room towards the front of the hotel, rooms towards the back smells old and moldy. Beds are uncomfortable, felt like you slept on the springs. The staff however was perfect, smiling and very helpful. All in all an OK stay, but will not book again (because of the beds).

BEDBUGS! This is every traveler’s fear and I can’t believe it happened to me and my daughter. We had just booked this hotel for 1 night to have a place to stay after watching the NYE fireworks. After 2 hours of sleep we were awakened by bites. We took another shower (2am) and tried to get back to sleep, after 2 hrs, we were both itching like crazy! I turned on the light and there it was a bed bug on our bed! We packed our stuff quickly and found another bed bug on the wall! We went to the front desk and complained, they gave us another room across the street. By this time it’s about 8am, went to see the manager, showed the pictures of bug bites and the bed bugs I had to kill. It was so disgusting and traumatic I could not sleep, our day got ruined, we could not function due to no sleep and the trauma. The manager was nice, gave us an extra night stay, but I still can’t shake it off my head that this particular hotel has this problem, at least not in the heart of London! I Am hoping the management will take a major action in this.

Very basic, ( not like picture) clean enough, but not clean under beds, no hot water in evenings, sound proofing poor but ideal position for paddington station. Friendly reception staff. Tea and coffee in rooms appreciated.

Not worth it
The room for a 2 bedroom is super tiny, the room and the building had a weird old smell. The bathroom shower was colt, the bed was not comfortable my back was in pain every morning. I never felt like this before with any other hotel I stay in.

Cheap but i would definitely spend more instead!
The rooms need attention. There is mold on the ceilings. The rooms are cold and the heating barely works. I had to take a duvet from the spare bed to make sure I was warm enough to sleep. Their cleaning service does take care of the basics, but the management is clearly not paying attenion. Also their idea of soap is hand wash to wash your hair and body. Honestly ridiculous and not appropriate

I booked a single room, but whilst the room was clean it was very small, little more in size than a store cupboard. This meant, as a business traveller, it had very little in the way of storage. The bed was of necessity pushed up tight to the wall against the window which meant a draft on one side compensated by a large wall mounted heater on the other. The location of the room meant there was almost no natural light. It was ok for an overnight stay if you’re travelling light.

Clean if a bit bland in decor. No wifi in a room that was 50 ft from the router at the front desk. In 2019, no wifi in a hotel room is pretty much unacceptable especially if you're staying for work.

Very disappointing. Room was very very very small for a family of 4. Was told that family room didn't suppose to exist. One of the receptionist's attitude was terrible! Totally spoils the mood of the trip! Room had bad lightings.

Clean hotel, very friendly staff. Watch out if you are in a lower ground room though. You will likely not have any mobile signal, and the wifi is close to useless when there are lots of people on it (early evening)

Well located, but ....
The location is excellent. However staff was completely unprepared to help solve a problem. Be mindful, single room = one smaller than twin bed. Long story, bathroom has mold, cobwebs and left over water in coffee pot, barebones to say the least. Has AC but some rooms don't work, WIFI iffy at best. Had to move to Sister hotel (no AC), but was ok w fan and window cracked. Management helpful at the end, after almost 24 h of grief. NOT Recommended at all

The location was great, you can easily access the Paddington Station which conects to the rest of London, you can also find restaurants and places to eat or drink two blocks down, the hyde park is also near. Plus, the recepcionist was really nice and sweet. Nonetheless we did encounter disappointing facilites like the uncomfortable matress, the wifi didn't work at our room and the sheets had stains on them.
