A fabulous experience

Pros: Great location in central london yet still quiet. Great facilities, decor, design................
Cons: Lift doors were slightly temperemental. (a minor issue)
Location: Ideal for Oxford street
This hotel is the ultimate in luxury. We were unbelievably lucky to be given a free upgrade to the penthouse! I could not say a bad word about it and just wish we could have had more time to enjoy it. Fantastic views across the London skyline and all the facilities you could wish for including an above average, well equipped gym. It's also not every day that your daughter gets to bump into her One Direction idols coming out of the lift. Be careful on the mini bar though, it's not cheap!

The Sabderson Rocks!

There is so much that can be said about the Sanderson, but I will try to be short. I have stayed here half a dozen times and everytime the experience tends to get better. This is a well run operation with the best staff. The hotel is beautiful but the staff makes this hotel something very special. From the front door staff to the GM everyone is dedicated to the guest. I have stayed at many Five Star hotels including the Burj al Arab but the Sanderson has very special spot in my heart. Personally I could never stay at another hotel while being in London. Team Sanderson is the Best of the Best! Keep it up guys.......

The rooms are tired. They really need updating. Best to go to the bar and look at other 5* places

Definitely not 5 star, but good hotel

Pros: Excellent food, Great location, Welcoming staff!
Cons: Room quality
Location: Oxford street shopping area is about one minute walk away and numerous excellent restaurants to choose from
I was led to believe that this hotel was 5 start when I researched it on expedia. It photographs really beautifully and I must say the elevators are very impressive. The food at the Suka restaurant was amazing and the cocktails at the purple bar were a treat. The staff were really friendly and polite and they even agreed to help with the surprise I had planned for my spouse! However, the rooms didn't quite do it for us. It felt kind of hollow, possibly because there was only a small patch of rug covering the base of the bed and everywhere else was tiled, therefore cold. We didn't find it cosy at all. The bathroom is a walk-in shower that was not properly separated from the rest of the room so the water from the shower got out. The Sanderson is a nice hotel to stay in if you want to be right in the middle of the vibrant central London but I would hardly call it luxurious or romantic.
