Fantastic hotel great location and amazing staff

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: Fantastic staff Great location Fab bars Great atmosphere
Cons: Nothing for our stay over ..all perfect
Location: Just off Oxford street, great for shopping , site seeing
Me and my friend booked a stay over for a shopping trip to London, fantastic location for the shops, no taxi needed, just off oxford street , the reception area was really funky and our greeting was extremely friendly , we where shown around and then to our room which was lovely with a very comfortable bed, the long bar for drinks in the evening was a great place to be, we met and chatted to some very interesting people while sipping our cocktails . The breakfast was delicious , I would thoroughly recommend this hotel , we are returning in June for our birthdays ant to try the Mad HAtters afternoon tea which looked lush. Book it today you won't regret it .

Solo in the Sanderson London

Pros: see above
Loved it. Staff was so helpful and friendly - and not mention all very attractive! Emily of the Concierge was such a lovely girl and helped me with dinner bookings - both amazing! Room was nice and spacious and impeccably clean at all times. Would definitely stay there again on my next trip to London. Love it. Well done!!

Pros: The Staff, the design of our room was delightful and the hotel lobby is fun and zany.
Cons: Tea and Coffee facilities in the room
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room spotless and well designed however it appears the company have a policy of not providing tea and coffee facilities in the room which is mean and irritating. When asked the staff kindly did provide a coffee maker and kettle but we should not really need to have asked.

A fabulous experience

Pros: Great location in central london yet still quiet. Great facilities, decor, design................
Cons: Lift doors were slightly temperemental. (a minor issue)
Location: Ideal for Oxford street
This hotel is the ultimate in luxury. We were unbelievably lucky to be given a free upgrade to the penthouse! I could not say a bad word about it and just wish we could have had more time to enjoy it. Fantastic views across the London skyline and all the facilities you could wish for including an above average, well equipped gym. It's also not every day that your daughter gets to bump into her One Direction idols coming out of the lift. Be careful on the mini bar though, it's not cheap!

Definitely not 5 star, but good hotel

Pros: Excellent food, Great location, Welcoming staff!
Cons: Room quality
Location: Oxford street shopping area is about one minute walk away and numerous excellent restaurants to choose from
I was led to believe that this hotel was 5 start when I researched it on expedia. It photographs really beautifully and I must say the elevators are very impressive. The food at the Suka restaurant was amazing and the cocktails at the purple bar were a treat. The staff were really friendly and polite and they even agreed to help with the surprise I had planned for my spouse! However, the rooms didn't quite do it for us. It felt kind of hollow, possibly because there was only a small patch of rug covering the base of the bed and everywhere else was tiled, therefore cold. We didn't find it cosy at all. The bathroom is a walk-in shower that was not properly separated from the rest of the room so the water from the shower got out. The Sanderson is a nice hotel to stay in if you want to be right in the middle of the vibrant central London but I would hardly call it luxurious or romantic.
