An excellent hotel. Bright, modern public areas, Well located for Heathrow. Helpful, friendly staff. Comfortable bed in a pleasant room. Good pub dinner. No hot water next morning, though: had to fly home without a shower.

The staff was just rude overall. Used Expedia to book this hotel. Would not recognize my Starwood Preferred status. Din't even bother to ask the level. The room was very hot all night without a real fix. Front desk asked me if I called down int he middle of the night to tell them. The beds were super bouncy and hard to make conformable. All synthetic materials made for a sleepless night. The pillows are crunchy to the ear as they are filled with plastic fiber.

Reserved and prepaid for one room for one night. Somehow the hotel got that wrong and insisted that I reserved two rooms and that the onus was on me to prove otherwise and get their mistake adjusted for them. After long distance calls back to the States to my travel agent, whereupon my travel agent had to call Expedia, which then had to call the hotel, which my agent had to wait on hold for over half an hour, the hotel finally acknowledged that it had mistakenly reserved two rooms and made said "adjustment".

Exactly what one needs near an airport - close to terminals but a calm environment with highly professional staff who deal with all requests in a professional and quick manner.

overnight before an early flight

Pros: clean, efficient and comfortable
Cons: free internet in the bedrooms
Location: close enough to LHR. I wasn't interested in local amenities.
I had a pleasant night (shower and sleep) at the Sheraton, which was just what was required before an early departure. I was disappointed that the internet was an extra in my room.
