Walking distancePosted Oct 10, 2014
Pros: Location, décor, friendly and helpful staff
Location: This hotel is within 2 blocks of Victoria St a main shopping district, which leads to the subway. The palace is a 4 block, maybe 15 minute walk.
An excellent hotel within walking distance of the palace. Quiet, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The room was large with all amenities. The only item I was not happy with was charging for the computer time.

St Ermins Hotel, LondonPosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Location, character, dinner and bar snack menu.
Location: Very close to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and very easy walk, (10-15 mins) from Theatreland etc. Tube station 2 minutes away so easy access to rest of
Second stay here in the past 2 months, both times for 3 days. First stay was brilliant this time around it was very disappointing. As a Marriott platinum member I am guaranteed a room upgrade if available. A few days before arrival I had an email from the hotel asking me to select upgrade options, what this turned out to be was a way to make the guest pay for the upgrade. We were upgraded to a family room which was nice and big with 2 bathrooms. Trouble is if you sat at the desk it was not possible for someone else to move around easily, likewise if the TV was pulled slightly out. Worst of all the lights from the front of the hotel came through the blinds on either side and at the bottom and stayed on all night. It is really sharp practice to get guests to pay for the upgrade they would normally get free of charge if room is available. The front desk staff are put in a difficult situation trying to explain this and the hotel management should have a serious rethink. We will not stay here again

Always goodPosted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Location is good. Very clean Relaxing
I've stayed at this hotel several times-always very good-nice staff and very good rooms. Comfortable beds and elegant decor in a great location.Good choice for both business and pleasure. My favourite hotel in London.Even for a one night stay it feels like a little treat. Only small disappoinment is the cooked breakfast -quite expensive and looks well set out etc but the hot items (bacon especially undercooked to my taste) do not look appetising at all.

Delightful!Posted Sep 11, 2014
St. Ermin's was an incredible experience. The hotel was in a great location and close to many shops, but on a quit street. It was also between Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey and only a block from St. James park. The staff was amazing, so polite, helpful, and friendly. Also, since we were there during a warm spell in September, we were grateful for the air-conditioned rooms. If we go to London again, we will definitely stay at St. Ermin's. Fabulous central locationPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Lovely lobby area, great rooms
Cons: Service in the bar was a bit slow on Saturday night
We stayed here for my wife's birthday weekend. Great location a few minutes walk from Victoria station and right on the doorstep of all the sites - 10 mins walk to Trafalgar Sq etc... Wonderful lobby area, oozes quality and opulence. Our room was great and even though on the road overlooking New Scotland Yard was very quiet. Loved the bee hives, nice touch.

Great hotel great locationPosted Sep 6, 2014
We just came back from a weeks stay at the St Ermins Hotel, it could not have been a better experience. The staff is excellent, the room was fresh pretty and comfortable, the location could not be beat... Five minute walk to Buckingham Palace in one direction, five minutes to Westminster Abbey in the other. It is a great value and we look forward to staying there again.
