“Convenient to transportation but bad neighborhood”
Definitely not a hotel you would like to stay in if you are femaile and alone. It is not a safe neighborhood to be in, especially after dark. From Heathrow, when you take a bus to the hotel (285 from Central Bus Station and 490 from Terminals 4 & 5), get off at Fern Grove Road (about 35 min ride). This is the closest bus stop to the hotel -- half a block walk. Don't rely on the bus driver to tell you where to get off. Close walk to the Feltham bus station. About 5-7 min walk, not 1 min as advertised but definitely convenient.
“great for single room or group traveling”
great service and i would recommend it if you are traveling with others as a group.
“Best location in Heathrow”
I believe StbHiles has prime location in Heathrow, near Feltham Station, near Airport, near Feltham Shopping Centre, a lot of restaurants, McDonalds, shutter King, Pizza, Subway, a lot of Indian and Chinies restaurants, so many groceries, big and small, like ASDA. Hotel rooms are good, not fancy, bed is not that good, but it is in good condition, always full, crew staff always stay there, ..
“Good value for money. Was just what we were looking for!!”
We had an eight hour lay over at Heathrow befor going on to Manchester. So we just needed to lay our heads down after a day flight from Chicago. We took the bus from the Airport very convenient. If you have never stayed here before and are going to take the bus TELL THE BUS DRIVER TO LET YOU NO WHICH STOP WHERE TO GET OFF AT!!!! They are helpful in that way. 80) It was late at night and I thought he would and he didnt!! So it was a long 30mins at the terminal!! But he let us back on at no charge. Also the buses dont carry money at night so you need exact change 2 pounds. you can get change at 24hr currancy exchange in the Airport. The hotel was clean and are represented well from the photos. I had no problems there and front desk was polite and helpful. Hope this is of help to everyone.

“Since 2005 I used to be there! but from my last time! I will never come back!”
Since 2005 I used to be there! but from my last time! I will never come back! Im frequent St Giles customer since 2005, but this time i did not like the way how the receptionist welcomed me! he was very rude! sad! looking so serious! then i tried to explain to him that i'm your customer since that year! just to make him treat me normally! even so, he was unable to smile after what i have said! he gave us the room keys but it was not working! we stayed 20 min just waiting that gentlemen to replace the keys, once, second and third time. even he did not say sorry about this. also he did not talk to me with respect! he asked me do you know how to you use the keys!??!?!??! .. DDAAUH?! ... i will not comment more that this! im sorry to say that my next trip St Giles will not be part of it!
“"Good Deal"”
Close proximity to Airport. Easily reached with public transportation. Take the 285 bus to Feltham. Bus stop almost right in front of hotel. Nothing fancy. The breakfast selection is ample. You might want to skip the reconstituted scrambled eggs. The rest is good. London is an expensive city, so for the price you're getting a very fair deal.
“Use only if necessary”
This is an "OK" hotel if your planning to stay a night at a london airport, but just a night anything more is a litlle bit too much, and wi fi is not free you will have to pay
“Value Stay”
First timer to London and got bit by the Marathon! Basic hotel. Basic room. Beds were uncomfortable though. Within minutes of the train and a comfortable ride to Waterloo or Victoria Stations. Heathrow just a short easy bus ride. Lots of tour groups. Eating dinner in the hotel turned into a fiasco though. Each tour group would head to the bar and the noise was deafening.
