All facilities offer a unique relaxed atmosphere to cater for all tastes, occasions and budgets. A Buffet Breakfast is served in the Breakfast Room located on the Mezzanine level. The hotel offers guests access to one of Central London*s largest Health and Fitness facilities (independently operated) that is located directly beneath the St. Giles Hotel with direct access from the hotel lobby, featuring a 25m indoor heated pool as well as extensive gym and sports facilities *for a nominal charge per visit, access token is required to be purchased from the token vending machine*. Each of the 700 guest rooms offer en-suite shower, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, room safes, remote control television with, direct dial telephone with voicemail and computerised room keys with Wave technology. Wireless high speed internet access is also available throughout the hotel (access charges apply). “Recommend Conditionally”

St Giles is very conveniently located for tourists, and room prices are good. We stayed two nights. We spent the first night in a 2nd floor room on the Tottingham Court Rd side of the hotel. We heard all the noise of the busy street, including numerous police vehicles. Very early in the morning we were awakened by garbage trucks picking up trash. The room was so tight that I banged my head twice on cabinets above the luggage shelf. When we complained, the staff was very understanding and helpful. They upgraded us at no cost to a somewhat larger room on the 9th floor at the quiet, back side of the hotel. So, stay at St Giles, but be careful about which room you get.

Area recommendations
West End/Soho - close to theaters, restaurants, British Museum. Easy walking distance to downtown/Windsor area and to walks along the Thames.

“Convenient & Clean = Yes, Luxury = No”

The hotel is in a terrific location and the room size (though small) is exactly what you'd expect. The biggest issue is really how misleading all the photos of the hotel are -- it is nowhere near as nice as it looks in the photos. The elevators also take about ten years to come so you end up taking the stairwell which is really unattractive. I would recommend staying here because it is clean and convenient for the price point, but warn you it's not as nice as it looks...

Area recommendations
Oxford Circus was a terrific neighborhood to be in! Convenient to the tube and easy to get around the city from this area.

“Great Location”

The location was ideal, being within walking distance of Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue was the size of the room and lack of A/C. Fortunately, it was fairly cool outside, so we just opened the window. Overall, good experience.
