Good hotel,Posted Feb 27, 2015
Cons: No tea and coffee facilities in room, expensive to order.
The hotel was undergoing re-furbishment that we had not been made aware off. Outside the hotel there was no sign to say that the accommodation was actually the hotel, we walked passed it a number of times before a conceirge came out and asked if we were looking for the hotel.

Great locationPosted Feb 2, 2015
Stayed at St Martins Lane as it was really close to both the theatre and restaurant where we were eating. The reception was excellent, the room was great. Just a shame the bar was closed for refurb. I'd certainly stay at this hotel again.

Don't book until after renovations.Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: The room was quiet.
Cons: Honesty on booking.
Location: Book elsewhere for a full soho experience.
Though the people who work here are lovely and aspire to be very top notch, the hotel neither matches the images anymore, nor has any of the amenities in the form they show. Both the restaurant and the bar/lounge are closed for renovations until March - which means all you get is a room, and they are changing the design such that it isn't the original Starck product. Though I appreciated the people - it was a loss for me to stay there - a hotel with no features, just a room, and a gloomy sense of having missed out. Not the best show for the hotel or Expedia on this one. BEWARE.

Stylish and centralPosted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: Modern, quirky decor in the lobby gives way to serious comfort and quiet upstairs. Very comfortable bed, lovely sheets, great marble bathroom.
Location: 3 mins to Leicester Sq tube, near to National Portrait Gallery. Plenty of restaurants and theatres on the street. 5 mins walk to Covent Garden.
Took a short break with my husband and 20 year old son. Wanted to be very central, which we were, but were pleasantly surprised that the bedrooms were so amazingly quiet. Great base for exploring the West End in a charming, lively neighbourhood.

An excellent modern hotel in stye heart of LondonPosted Dec 13, 2014
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our wedding anniversary weekend. This is a modern understated hotel. There is no signage at the door or inside to say that you are at this hotel. If you are a local and know this hotel as we did this is no issue for those that don't follow your Google maps, take a cab or know that it's opposite the theatre showing Shakespeare in love. We loved the modern simplicity of this hotel with its coloured lighting adding a sense of fun to the reception and the rooms. The bar was very busy on the Saturday night. It was bustling with life. The cocktails were to die for. A massive choice and very high quality. The hotel has 6 floors. We were in the 6th floor so it was nice and quiet to see we were in the middle of London. The room numbers are not on the doors they are on the carpets in the halls so look down whilst looking for your room. The room was small but perfectly formed. The room was immaculate and again very contemporary in its design. Everything is white. In our room yellow and red lights added a quirky sense of fun to the room. The bathroom was sleek and modern. It was also immaculate. The room has a shower. No bath. The bed was deliciously comfortable and after a long day in London on our feet, a night at the theatre and many cocktails in the hotels bar it was an absolute delight to fall asleep in this bed. If I could buy the bed and the pillows I would. All in all we had a brilliant stay at this hotel. I would highly
