Hotel bem agradável, próximo de tudo.Posted May 26, 2015

Nice quiet location just off Euston RoadPosted May 26, 2015
Pros: Quiet location a few minutes walk from Euston / Kings Cross stations.
Very small cramped room - it would be virtually impossible to cook and eat for 2 people in this room, and it had a very tiny shower / toilet (which worked ok). My room was on the 3rd floor - no lift provided - so anyone with heavy luggage would struggle.

Close to everything - noise is a problemPosted May 25, 2015
The flat is in a great location! You can walk to the tube in about 4-5 mins, there are restaurants and bars nearby, and there are several convenient stores that you can grab some snacks at. The noise was a problem though. The window was so thin that you can hear every word of everyone who walks down the street, you hear every tennis ball being hit at the courts across the street, and you hear every car that drives by. There is also construction going on during the day which is very loud. The flat itself is small, but very nice for a stay. We stayed for a week and loved the kitchenette.

Short stay in LondonPosted May 23, 2015
Pros: Within walking distance of St. Pancras train station
Cons: Expectation, based on website photos, was to have room above ground level.
Location: British Museum and British Library within walking distance
Room was below street level and had to keep windows closed for privacy.

Posted May 22, 2015

Okay, but not greatPosted May 21, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location. The hotel is between two Tube stations (King's Cross and Russell Square) and there is a Waitrose grocery nearby.
Cons: The rooms need to be formatted differently to optimize space. They could also stand be a little larger.
Location: Lots of places to eat with great variety. The Charles Dickens Museum and the British Museum are within walking distance, too.
Studios2Let is in Bloomsbury, an area I knew well from a previous trip to London, so the hotel is where I wanted to stay. That is the main reason I picked this hotel. The pictures made the room look very inviting and homey. Upon arrival, we discovered that our terrace room was on the ground floor, and the hotel does not have an elevator, which made taking our luggage down a flight of stairs difficult. Once inside the room, we discovered how very small it truly was. The bed was not large enough for two people. The bathroom was not big enough to turn around in, but it was functional and we always had plenty of hot water. The television is also placed in an odd position, so watching it was difficult. Overall, I would recommend this hotel IF you plan on staying in a room by yourself. I do recommend getting the terrace because it certainly adds some much needed space. Please note that there was road work going on nearby, but we were on the back part of the hotel and never heard it. Also, their laundry dryers will not get the clothes dry, and they cut off at 8 p.m. There is a laundry around the corner from the hotel that stays open late. The location truly is the best part of the hotel.

Great for long-term staysPosted May 18, 2015
We only stayed 4 days, but wanted a way to cook meals so this was perfect. Our room was small but super-efficient. I love the sparse, functional design. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was suitably furnished with dishes, etc. Small issues: 1. Shower has no flat space for putting shampoo/conditioner containers or bar of soap. There should be a couple of small corner shelves installed for this purpose. 2. There is a glass shelf over the bathroom sink which gets in the way when you try to brush your teeth or wash your face. It should be moved to the side. The sink is very small so you do have to lean over it. 3. There was no place in the bathroom to put toiletries, other than the aforementioned glass shelf. We moved a small round table from the kitchen area, meant to be the dining table I assume, into the bathroom. Worked great. 4. They should have written instructions in the room for how to lock the door. It's a little tricky if you haven't used this particular type before. 5. There were no additional trash bags or extra rolls of toilet paper in the room. We had to go to the main office to ask for them. 6. The cabinets in the kitchen are installed way too high. They could be moved down a good 10 inches and still be high enough. Be aware that there is no hair dryer in the room. Not a problem for me, but good to know. Overall we were pleased. The location for touring downtown London was excellent.

Small As Expected But Location Location LocationPosted May 16, 2015
Pros: Location within 10 minutes maximum walking to ten different tube lines, plus, railroad and Eurostar..Could travel anywhere in the world from your room
Cons: Maybe provide a small two place folding table and chairs for eating off of...???
Location: Transportation plus many stores and restaurants within 7 minutes walk.
Room had everything we needed for a weeks stay, completely equipped kitchen and bathroom and bed area that was clean, and modern. Staff were always available to help if needed. Wake Up Calls, Directions, Setting Up WiFi, With a Smile!. Room small but we only needed for sleeping and some cooking.

Great location, very small room, well conditionedPosted May 16, 2015
Pros: Great location, everything in perfect conditions
Cons: Cannot be improved, rooms almost ridiculously small.
One night stay due to work meetings. Very convenient location, smooth check in (although they did have any money for change, it was either card or cash as the exact amount and I was luck to have the exact amount), very small room, toilet, and terrace, although everything in perfect condition and very well equipped. Very good value for money considering competetitors
