Don't count on the Wi-FiPosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Clean and comfortable, albeit tiny and old.
Cons: More Wi-Fi routers.
Location: Bus ride to Greenwich historical sites and shopping; bus ride to Bexleyheath Shopping Center and district. Easy access to Central London.
Anybody who considers the Antigalllican is doing so for budget reasons, so I'm not going to whine about things that should not be expected in lower-cost accommodations. The rooms are clean, maintained, and the beds are comfortable. I am told this hotel is popular with soccer fans when there is a game in the nearby stadium, and that it can get loud on such days. We didn't encounter that, but there was random noise at all hours, in our room along the street. My only disappointment was the Wi-Fi. Despite help from management, the signal was too weak to be effective in our room, and we found it to be spotty when when we wandered seeking better signal. Good things: The nearest bus stop is less than one block, as is the local stop of the SouthEastern line that goes into London (London Bridge station). So it is easy to get into Central London at all hours of the day or quite late into the evening. If you get a day pass for using the tube in London, pay enough to cover zone 4.

SurprisingPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
On arrival we wondered what we had let ourselves in for as the look of the real thing was not like the picture! Staff were amazing - very helpful and friendly. room was great - unlike the reception area. was attached to a pub which was good actually, as we got a late night drink!

Bed in the room was very comfortable. Bar did not inspire you To in.. Needs a lot of attention. But service was good.

Great for the O2, basic but clean & friendlyPosted Jun 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
We did not expect much from this hotel, given the cheap price, but were pleasantly surprised. The staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. The room was basic but clean & comfy. This was an ideal stop-over for visiting the O2 Arena (15 mins on bus) & I would certainly book this hotel again. Some rooms are advertised as shared bathroom, but our twin room (with 3 beds actually) had own-bathroom with shower.

Very good for the low cost of staying.Posted Apr 13, 2013
For the price it was of a good standard, being better than what I expected for a hotel of this price with a nice room and friendly staff. There are a good number of local facilities including a large retail estate with supermarket close by. There's good public transport links to the O2, being right next to a train station, and buses to the O2 passing by it. I would even recomend it for a longer stay in London, as a location for London sightseeing.

For what I needed - a basic room, 24 hour reception, low cost, near London City Airport, it was fine. Basic, but fine. Polite and responsive reception.
